ML character is 27-28, I believe. There’s a 6-year gap with FL who is 21-22.

As someone commented below, the author specifically made 2ML like a typical lead of many dramas. She was trying to show us that MLs don’t all have to be like that and they can be nice :)

No one likes 2ML here (and I agree with that). At least, he’s better than 2ML is Flourished Peony / In the Name of Blossom but that is a VERY low bar to clear, lol

This may turn into the situation we had in Flourished Peony where FL & ML were happy together but 2ML was trying to get FL which made 2FL upset & caused her to try to harm FL.

Both leads are also trying to stand on their own without having their families involved (ML by being a doctor and FL by not using connections to get a job) :)

Haha… most of TRP they are trying to oppose each other. But I really liked the plot/theme of TRP.
Our Generation tried to be a mix of TFF & WIFTY but, let’s be honest, ML’s reason for escaping like that was very weak 😳

ZMJ was also great in The Princess Royal 👸🏻
She was also really good in Our Generation but the screenplay there wasn’t as strong (I still liked the show but others — not so much).

That’s why 2FL got a job at that company — so she could be right next to ML’s place of work. At least, it’s a great company, so it kills two birds with one stone, lol

Haha… I’m rewatching ZMJ’s Amidst a Snowstorm of Love right now — it’s my go-to drama to get a winter feeling :)

Not as wild as 2ML trying to get FL a job at the company across the street from his bank WHILE still not admitting to FL that he likes her. It’s not like he doesn’t know she likes him — he has a 100% guarantee she’ll agree to be with him. Instead, he confuses both FL and 2FL 😤

Your points are valid :) But, to be slightly fair to our FL, she’s only known 2ML for about 1.5 years. It’s not like she’s pining for him for many years like you see in so many other dramas.
