Ah, yes, “Here We Meet Again” was the unsuccessful space drama I was thinking about in my comment above. I found it very baffling screenwriters/creators did so poorly given the fact You Are My Glory came out beforehand and gave a roadmap on how to properly explain dedication & sacrifices of people who work on the space program.

OMG, please don’t remind me of A Beautiful Lie. I love the cast of that drama but the last episodes are so, so bad 😡 It’s my go-to example when I bring up awful endings. It feels like a completely different person was involved with the last 2(3?) episodes 😠🥺😢🤯😩😤

ML here would send you organize a file room if he heard your mention of TCM 🤣😁

P.S. For me those who don’t know, the drama with TCM doctor is called “The Best Thing” and it is very good :)

It’s likely a combination of MDL rating algorithm glitches (many new series go through that) and haters/bots. It’s definitely a good drama so far :)

I just think it’s a youthful crush. She’s not crazy/obsessed with him (2FL is more like that). And ML is doing a good job at keeping her busy ao she doesn’t have time to think about 2ML

What was the drama that you saw?
Personally, I really liked freighting/rescue scenes in Fireworks of My Heart but, say, Road Home wasn’t nearly as compelling (ML was a bomb tech). And space “propaganda” can be done well (like You Are My Glory from the same author as this drama) or it can be done poorly (there’s another drama whose name escapes me).

Novel readers, do our heroes eventually get a contract to produce solar panels for satellites 🛰️ and space probes?
This can really be in the same universe as You Are My Glory if that happens 😁

For now, they aren’t pushing solar energy agenda at all. The leads just work at a solar battery company.

But that may change if there’s a time skip to present day. Currently, China makes 80%+ of all of world’s solar panels (and 90%+ of components), so maybe our heroes will be billionaires in the present day :)

I think it’s that way on purpose. FL is meant to be with ML. She had a first crush on 2ML but it’s clear they aren’t right for each other.

2ML is definitely not a green flag. Even in college he’s a yellow flag. Now he’s slowly turning orange and by the end he might be full on red flag. 🚩

It was 8.1 on the first day (yesterday) then got downranked to 7.8 today morning (either another MDL glitch or bits/haters). This is definitely an 8+ drama so far though.

Every popular actor or actress seems to have haters / anti-fans who are super vocal and waste their time downrabking on MDL or leaving negative comments (which means nothing in the grand scheme of things because TV companies don’t use MDL ratings). But the lead couple here are good so let’s ignore the haters and enjoy the drama :)

They made it slightly more realistic by including a tree. If she wasn’t slowed down by the tree, it’d not be a very pleasant experience for either of them 😁

Jusgijg by the previews, ML will get over this soon even though he & FL won’t know what exactly happened / how the misunderstanding occurred.

I accidentally spoiled it for myself by reading comments here. But, suffice to say, there will be an explanation :)

Well, she’s NOT over the crush because it was never really resolved. So she still has feelings for him. ML is puzzled why FL doesn’t seem to recognize him even though in Episode 1 he was told by his friend that FL has been asking about him. And the whole reason why ML got into the accident was because he was on the way to see FL in Wuxi (or so he thought). There’s clearly a misunderstanding but we don’t know what happened (not unless you read spoilers in comments).

Based on previews for ep. 10-11, it’s probably fake-dating because of a wedding. Well, fake on FL’s part; ML probably takes it more seriously because he likes her :)
