This is actually so good. I'm hooked. Hope it gets better and not dive into melodrama with the parents and the…
Money collectors will come into play for sure. Same for ML’s dad & sister — they are going to be the bad guys here. But hopefully this stays on the lighter side of things :)
Sigh, you are right… it’s one of those things we just have to suspend our disbelief and accept what happened.…
Yes, ML forgetting her name is one of the things we are supposed to accept without thinking too much about it, unfortunately. I just let it slide but, of course, it’s not explained even though he knows her name from medical form (I think he even called her by her name) and then later her name is know. during the conversation with the ex & his girlfriend 🙄
Their chemistry is 10/10!!!! But the ending though 😒 most of these time travel dramas are ending the same.
Government censorship doesn’t allow these plots to be real because some unstable people would harm themselves (for example, hoping they would be reincarnated, etc.). Creators of this drama actually pushed the envelope quite a bit by making sure we realize it WAS real and not a dream (lots of clues but they couldn’t say it outright due to censorship). There was analysis in previous comments but, basically, the modern world is our heroes’ 4th lifetime together 🥰 On Weibo they also posted a short video with photos & subtitles including modern-world photos (leads look different - like in promo photos) where they seat down in a cafe and interact/chat (basically, reconnect). So it’s a 100% happy ending to me personally :)
P.S. The Princess Royal is the only drama I’ve watched where reincarnation/time-travel/2nd life wasn’t shown to be a dream. Well… they convinced censors it was a dream but not us 😁
SL is definitely a tragic character and generally helps heroes but he also violates personal boundaries. He blatantly…
Just ignore MDL synopsis — it’s mostly wrong. The story starts local & relatively light but then there’re military expeditions and eventually empire-wide events for our heroes to deal with. I love it for the logical writing and being relatively free of annoying tropes that plague so many dramas. People behave relationally/logically and even when you think they are being not smart, often they are just scheming to fool bad people (not falling into obvious traps like in other dramas).

Thank you for the nice write up. Haven’t watched Shadow Love yet but this makes me more excited for it.
Personally, on vibes alone, I viewed When Destiny Beings the Demon as being similar to Love Between Fairy and Devil (it was mentioned in the comments by others too).
And then Love in the Clouds most reminds me of historical drama Are You the One. Without going into spoilers, both dramas have very strong leads are who capable on their own but it’s clear they were made for each other (AYTO doesn’t give the leads a common backstory like LITC but it shows that only ML is right for FL and vice versa).
I am more amazed to the point that our FL is so broke that she couldn't even afford to gift a rice cooker to her…
I was thinking about when they were taking to the other couple (ex & his gf) but you are totally right — he even knows the name from medical documents!
Netflix has released some 5 mins of official clip, basically the gist of the entire drama......Man the misunderstanding…
I really, really hope that the truth about FL not being really married to 2ML and ML not being in love with 2FL will come out relatively quickly so that by episode 8-9 our heroes can reconcile and focus on taking over the company.
Now is the point where after the entire financial world of the lead character explodes, you start to try to figure…
We don’t know about the family of her in-laws (perhaps they didn’t want to help or perhaps their son stole all of their money too). With regards to the loan, it was for less than USD $1400 and probably at high interest rates.
