OMG, things like this happen not just with C-dramas? I don’t know the fandom in question but it’s always annoying when antis/haters engage to downrank a drama or, even more insidiously, pretend to be fans of another artist while writing insulting comments (all in order to start a conflict between fandoms).

Dynamite Kiss had 14 episodes so it’s possible :)

2ML had no chance after ep. 12 and then in ep. 14 FL started unofficial dating phase (what we’d call casual dating) 😬

The ending was very good, yes! Other writers should definitely learn from TFF, this drama and other good dramas. I’m constantly amazed that C-drama writers chose to use same tropes/cliches (even tired & annoying ones) but then want to reinvent the wheel when it comes to endings. Most people just want a nice feel-good ending for dramas with a concept like this one.

To be fair to them, China became an undisputed leader in PV/solar energy tech. They make 80-90% of panels & components.

This makes me want to rewatch You Are My Glory again 🥰 (same author)

Did they say what role the other screenwriter had here? One of the writers of The Best Thing is listed as a writer here (along with Gu Man, of course) and many people definitely felt TBT vibe here too. There were even a couple of jokes about TCM :)

To add to another comment — she was one of the two cousins who helped rat out Evil Sheng to Granpa Sheng (that he humiliated ML at the birthday banquet). Their two fathers are ML’s uncles but they aren’t as powerful as Evil Sheng’s dad. ML advised Granpa to pick the girl cousin as a successor because she’s more serious — we can tell that because at the airport she called the guy cousin who apparently failed to show up to pick her up and is running an e-gaming team.

Isn’t Feng Teng the company for which they are making a data center here (in the later episodes)? Or did I confuse the names.

This drama is officially in the same universe as You Are My Glory — they showed a rocket 🚀 launch and a satellite 🛰️ with solar panels. Yu Tu’s institute must have picked the leads’ PV company for satellite solar panels 😁

I need to go back and finish Boss & Me. It’s really well done. I’m probably less than halfway through it, but it stands up great to the test of time and — unless they mess up the end — might just be the best/most realistic C-drama about rich boss+poor employee. And OST is wonderful too!

I really appreciate a more realistic, lively dialogue in her dramas. ML & FL are alternating nicely between serious topics and being funny with each other.

I really enjoyed this drama and my main wish would be for more 2025/2028 episodes. Although, even as is, they did a good job with bringing us along.
