Ahh hope this will get attention world wide💗💗. Really this drama deserve more recognition. This will be…
Maybe we will have a great drama to end 2025 on a high note. My fave K-drama this year might be “Love Scout” which aired in early 2025. If you haven’t watched it, highly recommended. It has one of the greenest flags as ML :)
No Kdrama has ever filmed Jeju Island the way it was filmed in episode 2. The dres, the twirl and the sea sparkle…
It was shot very beautifully for sure. I also enjoyed nature in “Welcome to Samdal-r” but it was set in Jeju unlike this drama where they were just visiting.
much better than anything airing rn. ofc i am biased because of AEJ. She seems like a very responsible person.…
This has a very good start. Sometimes dramas don’t need to reinvent the wheel and just give us good leads and lots of familiar comfortable tropes. “Would You Marry Me” is also like that (and has all the tropes, lol). It’s almost don’t airing, so give that a chance if you haven’t seen it yet.
Kdrama romcoms are back and no wonder it's it's done by sbs. also I think the ost is by melomance which is just…
Would You Marry Me (on Disney+/Hulu in the U.S.) is also a good example of a trope-y but good romcom. Sometimes they don’t need to reinvent the wheel :)
whyy did they have to include childhood connection again, that was so unnecessary 💀😭
It hasn’t been confirmed (just a guess for now). And childhood connections could be done well. Personally, I enjoyed how it was done in Queen of Tears.
[removed comment since this is technically an SBS drama]
I’m quite familiar with how Netflix rebrands titles sometimes, so not sure why I didn’t think to look into it more, my bad 😥 Maybe I’ve gotten complacent because with C-dramas MDL app lists original platform and secondary platform(s) 🧐
I think it was just that she loved him and didn't want his career getting messed up.
Endings have been good so far. It’s not like some dramas where at end of an episode couple is going for a kiss, credits roll and then at beginning on next episode something happens to prevent the kiss 🙄

Ah, thank you! I’m still in the middle of Ep. 8 because Dynamite Kiss 💋 🧨 grabbed my attention. Have you started watching it? It’s quite good so far :)

Yes, I think a scene or two must’ve been cut during editing because they referred to “his promises” or something along those lines but they never explained why/when he was supposed to call her. Another reason why I disliked her sacrifice is that ultimately it was a huge error — preparing fugu fish wrong can be deadly so by letting him stay at the restaurant she potentially is putting other people at risk 🤷♂️

At a cost of her own career though? She was the favorite of the main chef and — seems like — a better chef herself. Seems strange to throw her career away like that. I would understand it better if she would have been hoping that by taking the blame herself, the chef would punish her (but not fire her outright) because he liked her; whereas he’d probably fire her ex outright. Anywah, maybe I’m thinking about this too much, lol… To begin with, the whole premise of chefs knowing when a Michelin guide reviewer is visiting is unrealistic. I understand why they did it in the drama but Michelin reviewers are super anonymous and visit multiple times :)
