There’s zero chance he goes to Chicago. Given the number of episodes, it’s likely ML+FL will stay in Korea, try to solve FL’s depression, and fight for the control of her dad’s company.

This is a valid point but there’s a possible explanation — he could’ve worn the shirt to take that group photo BEFORE the breakup argument. So the whole argument could have been her asking him why he doesn’t wear the shirt regularly. At least, that’s my read of the situation.

Whatever is the reason for low rating (MDL bugs? Antis?), it doesn’t reflect how good the drama has been so far. First three episodes have been really good. Of course, writers can ruin things later on but so far it’s been very solid.

It was pretty clear from the very beginning there would be a fight for the company and a fight for ML’s mom’s divorce. But I didn’t think expect it to be caused by the super-toxic 2FL’s brother. I’m 95% sure he was introduced to give us an evil character and provide a redemption arc for ML’s sister. She will probably do something to help ML/ stop her evil ex in the end.

2ML is a genuinely nice guy, but at this rate we are definitely not going to see 2ML+2FL get together until they very last moment (at ML+FL’s wedding?). The third couple might make a bigger progress in the next few episodes, lol

Writers had a chance to make 2ML also non-trope-y character but they went for an obvious solution :(

It’s one of those dramas where 2ML has 0% chance of getting with FL, but he makes some attempts. That’s the main (only?) thing annoying people in the comments. Thankfully, we all know his attempts are futile — it’s not a drama where FL is torn between two people.

Me too! I think they introduced him to give her a redemption arc. He’s going to try to do something really evil and she will stop him to earn her redemption. Something along those lines :)

Yes, I think it’s a fair assessment. This is a nice drama but probably going to end up in a “good” tier as opposed to “very good” or “great”.

They might get together at the very end but, yes, writers will need to show us 2ML getting over FL.

Yes, everyone here in the comments agrees that it’d been better if 2ML had only platonic feelings for FL and was going calling with the lies to be a protective big brother.

Yes! 2FL is really great. She’s so great, many in the comments are saying 2ML isn’t good enough for her, lol 😆
