Yea, they even kept us in suspense by not showing whether the message was sent or not. Nad having MLās snowboard in the infirmary helped make it more plausible he got injured.

This drama had such a promising beginning which makes it even sadder they couldnāt maintain that momentum š„
This is very true! I loved the first half (2/3?) of āThe First Night with the Dukeā but then some very questionable choices were made for no particularly good reason. Same with āDear Hongrangā ā everything was 10 out of 10 except scripts for second half (and the whole show was only 11 episodes).

Love the fact that both ML and FL are rich.
They are rich but are pretty modest and do not flaunt their wealth. FL was pretty lowkey in university and at work no one even knows her wealth.

Maybe itās mentioned in the novel but for now thereās no indication that FLās family owns any shares in MLās family company. Itās a huge company, though, so any percentage would be tiny. And people who run MLās company kind of look down on FLās company (it was mentioned during a meeting early own) because itās ānew moneyā.
