Yes, she’s still married to the ex which — for sure — will become a plot point. She couldn’t file the papers because she had to get documentation from the government saying she’s still married (for lottery results). Similarly, I’d guess that she can’t file a divorce petition until 3 months are up and she owns the house 🏡

Novody likes him. He has no shame coming back to try to get with FL. And it’ll only get worse once he realizes they are still officially married.

Childhood connection adds a bit of realism in a sense that it explains why ML continues to help FL. But, yes, this drama must be adding all drama tropes on purpose. Next, we’ll have grandma being against FL and offering her money or whatever 😁😆

His sister is the best character in their family though. The actress (Seung You) is really doing a good job with a small part. She was also in “Bon Appetit, Your Majesty” (as one of 3 Chinese chefs).

Jusging by ep. 6 preview ML might finally move into the house (hopefully, permanently and not just for one night).

I’m almost certain at some point he’ll find out about non—divorce and it will cause issues for FL. Maybe he’ll deman the house as a payment for real divorce so she could marry ML… or, somehow, he’ll stick around to try to get back with her. Either way, it’s very good that ML is rich and our couple isn’t going to be homeless even if they give away / don’t end up with the house.

2ML is supposed to be a good guy (he’ll get with 2FL for sure), so he’ll probably do something to expose his boss and/or send him to jail. Which isn’t going to be hard because that punk boss is dumb.

Yes, it’s the same person — his childhood friend who got his grandmother’s permission to pursue him (their families know each other well). She’s played by Shin Seul Ki who most well-known for being on Single’s Inferno 2 and who is a really good classically trained pianist (that’s why there’s a piano playing scene in Ep. 5).

And he was out the door the moment she offered a home cooked meal! Our boy is just looking for any excuse to spend time with his “wife” ☺️🥰

2FL & 2ML will get together — it’s just a matter of time :)

He’s not going to stay away — he’s technically still married to FL because she never turned in the divorce paperwork. But even if they were true exes, he’d still come into the picture to harass her and try to get a piece of the house, at least.
