I liked it. Their love story is very sweet. They're loyal to each other and they'll DEFINITELY go through heaven,…
Dramas have to resort to “it was a dream” / “it happened in a book” ending due to strong censorship rules in China (apparently, some people take these dramas too seriously and end their lives hoping to be reborn, etc.). So the drama had to make censors happy by leaving a room for “dream” interpretation. However, there were a lot of hints it wasn’t a dream (for example, ML didn’t take his flight and waited for FL), so everyone agrees that FL regained memories from their first 3 lifetimes together, ML has memories too, and now this is gong to be their 4th lifetime together. The show even posted a write up and photos/videos on Weibo that further support that. https://m.weibo.cn/status/5208618148561819
I have just recently started this. The dialogue between LTY and SMJ below made me squealed.LTY: Have ever entered…
Theoretically, dual cultivation is supposed to be even more intimate than a standard bedroom encounter. The drama tried to be a bit coy, but it’s pretty clear there could have been babies made 🫣
I admire people who start watching 100-episode dramas while they are still airing. Will set this aside for now and check in a closer to the end. Writing and plot are hard to maintain when a drama is so long, but let’s hope for the best! :)
I'm sure that - Stella Young is someone from the family, probably mother-in-law- mistress is just a smaller figure…
We don’t know yet exactly how the FL lost the baby. Ifbit was during childbirth or something like that, it could be her baby (if a switch is possible), but she mentioned being 7 months pregnant not 9, so something bad could have happened. And not sure why husband & family would want to give FL’s child to another woman instead of keeping him as legitimate heir. But lots of unanswered questions for sure.
The rom development (E5) didn't sit well with me in tempest..looks rushed that moment at end of e5 should have…
The feelings have been there since the very beginning, but they grew because FL found out about husband’s cheating and — especially — because of the upcoming nuclear war. Wanting some comfort in the face of nuclear catastrophe is pretty understandable.
Question: is FL supposed to be a foreigner (Korean) in the movie? Curious why HHJ was chosen for this role (she’s a very good actress), but it’s a Japanese series. Apologize in advance if I don’t know some important details 😳
the only thing that icks me is how every drama nowadays is 12 eps or even worse 8… like what happened to 16…
12 episodes is nice most of the time. Unless the script is great, 16 episodes makes screenswriters insert tired tropes, like breakups for no reason, misunderstandings, etc.

Good to know, thank you! About ADHR — it depends on whether you find endings important or not. Some people don’t mind if ending is not done well if a drama has been good. ADHR is for people like that — the ending is not set up well (seems like most of the episodes were written with a different ending in mind and then the team had to scramble & turn things around for a different ending). So the ending is very meh (blah) and made a lot of people upset. I personally wouldn’t watch it until Season 2 is released (if that ever happens) which is really a shame because for almost entire series the writing has been very good and stayed away from most tropes.

I just hope it has a better ending than A Demon Hunter’s Romance (another 2025 drama with Song Zu Er) which was great until the last episode or two when iQIYI messed with original planned ending 🥺
peaceful reunification of North and South. And she’s also a strong person with convictions.
