Honestly, 8.5 is a great score nowadays, especially for a drama with only 4 episodes. But, in general, MDL ratings are only slightly more reliable than Viki ratings at this point 🙄

Pretending to be a couple to a win a prize that’s needed for a company event is very harmless.

Question for people who read the novel: why do patrols happen only once every 4 years? Even if evil creatures are locked away, wouldn’t it make sense to have someone be on guard to notice when/if they escape? A lot of bad things can happen over 4 years 🧐

Yes, I agree. It really seems like there was nothing happening for a long time until 20 years ago and then nothing again until now.

I could’ve sworn it was an entire sub-genre of dramas with that premise so wasn’t thinking of any one in particular.

But the best one of those that I’ve watched recently is Filipino drama called “Safe Skies, Archer”. It’s so ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥, they’d never be able to adapt it in Korea or China 🫣

Some dramas do have kissing upfront, but they are usually the ones where there’s more drama — like FL gets pregnant, doesn’t let ML know (or doesn’t know how to find ML); then years later they meet again and we have to wait until almost the very end for ML to find out the child is his 🤣

I think it really hugely depends on a drama. Some drama pages have very nice discussions and others are a mess. For example, recently two dramas from the same author (different genres though) were airing at the same time but one had happy fans & lovely discussions (When Destiny Brings the Demon) whereas the other one was full of antis/downvotes/drama (Moonlit Reunion).

I hope ep. 9 shows why she couldn’t deal with just two (?) bad guys on her own even though she’s supposed to be the best fighter. Sigh, the good guys definitely have their work cut out for them 😳
