FOUR lifetimes 🥰
I kind of wished they skipped straight to the modern world, but I do understand why they did the mortal realm.

They already released all 12 episodes in just a few days?
Have you watched Love Scout? One of the best K-dramas and it got released in 2025. It’s great if you want a more adult/mature romance (leads are in mid-30s and ML is a single dad who is the greenest of all green flags).

They purposefully made a bunch of callbacks. There were also flowers on the trees in the lobby and a snake painting…
This is from another comment (I think it came from same TikTok):

the timeline is that wei jiao arrived first. he established the company and named it sanshan (three holy mountains) technology, with a focus on resort investment, and also named the project qinggushan. he had been planning for years, and one day, he finally waited for a person named zou yan. zou yan slept in the hospital for one night, recovering her memories, and upon waking up, it was their fourth meeting; not time-travel, but a rebirth loop ---- a grand HE!

FOUR lifetimes 🥰
LBFAD started with a kiss in the first episode 😘, but yes, hopefully it shows drama makers that people enjoy seeing leads being loving/romantic throughout the drama and not just in the last episode or two.

There’s a TikTok linked in recent comments where a person goes over the ending and how things are connected. It’s pointed out there.

👋 did anyone notice the parallel sima jiao and shi yan meeting on the stairs in modern arc and the lights above…

Maybe he was that fish at the end and followed her ... 🤔
Since FL is Frozen Fiah, I believe it was meant to signify that her soul survived and that’s how she eventually ended up in the modern world with her past memories. It’s similar to how FL kept a wisp of ML’s soul alive when he “disappeared” and was reborn into mortal realm.

What else are you watching? I’m watching Moonlit Reunion (same author as WDBTD) but in the U.S. it’s delayed…
Thanks! Haven’t started Shadow Love yet. Just finished Female General and now this one.

We share the same interp for the HE"the timeline is that wei jiao arrived first. he established the company…
The censors would never allow for that interpretation, lol. But I do agree that this fits with the overall theme, especially because LTY told him about the modern world. Now, __how__ SJ was able to get to the modern world… who knows. We don’t care, we just want them together 🥰☺️😘

Love the ending!!!
Now we just need a modern drama with the two leads. Like a reverse or Moonlight (modern drama) and Love Game in Eastern Fantasy (fantasy) with 3 of 4 leads being the same :)

Haha… a typical K-drama is 12 episodes nowadays and it takes them 6 weeks (2 episodes per week).

It's a novel line, but how they kept it for the final scene is amazing... I've never seen a drama handling novel…
It was pretty clear the heroes would reunite in the modern world (or that, at least, the FL was dreaming), but they lead pair still made us care 🥺😳😭
