Very good so far through 6 episodes. It’s not a super serious drama but I’d say it goes deeper than a typical high school/college drama when it comes to interpersonal relationships and pressures faced by students.
How's the chemistry guys? Is it he fell first and fell harder or she fell first and he harder?
I think he fell first but they are in school so it’s all innocent at this point. She views him as a best friend (well, only real friend) and is just trying to adjust to high school life.
I hate that in dramas when the ML is a genius and like the most passive and smug person ever (like in most high…
This drama is honestly a lot more realistic about how a genius-level person (male or female) would be treated, especially if he/she doesn’t have great EQ.
But I also agree that’s it’s a lot more interesting to watch dramas where both leads are smart/good at school/work/life as opposed to being opposites. That’s why so many people love “When I Fly Towatds You” — ML was a great science student while FL was great in English, they both helped each other and were a great match 🥰
She has some appearances in flashbacks in other episodes, but what a great performance in that first episode.
Oh, that’s interesting to know. If this were a Thai drama, we’d definitely have Nana+Damai CP. And season 2 could be them traveling around to open branch locations of the home stay. Damai is an online writer so she can write from anywhere :)
We just have to learn to accept that K- and C-dramas aren’t very good at giving us realistic scenes when it…
Yes, that’s exactly what I thought! These little weird moments that lack logic sometimes bother me quite a bit. Like in “King the Land” it really bothered me that ML (who was a rich person himself) used company funds to — for all intents & purposes — take FL & her friends on a luxurious trip to Thailand 🧐🤨🙄
I'm dreading the ending. I have a feeling that it's going to be tragic! What are the chances of a happily ever…
The novel doesn’t have a HE from what I’ve heard. But dramas sometimes change endings (including one of this author’s previous novels/deamas) so maybe they’ll go for an open ending or something
Okay after so many months, I'm now ready to rewatch 😭 Time to go through all the pain again.
This is a rare drama that benefits from watching the second time because now we know what’s really going on and can pick up on clues and appreciate hints provided by the director.
On ep 9Can someone remind me again why the 2nd sister sided with Dragon deity? Also do we get the lively ji Ling…
In general, this drama likes to show scenes/moments but leave them as a mystery to be revealed later. You will keep discovering things all the way until the very end :)
Am I the only one who wants more of the 2nd couple’s screen time with chemistry. WSG looks so cute lol and WWY…
There’s no first or second couple here. Both couples play equal importance in the storyline. That’s one of the reasons this drama got review bombed in the end (from 8.7-8.8 to 8.1; now back to 8.2). Fams of both couples thought THEIR couple didn’t get enough screen time and got mad, 😔
can my found family just reach the end of a drama together alive? w/o alternate timelines or dream sequences?…
Given the director and the plot, this was about as happy of an ending as we could get. We have dragon-fox babies ready to be made in original world; and our young couple are blissful & without any heavy burdens in the magic-free world.
Who is main and second lead? Please anyone explain
Like another commenter said, this is one of those dramas which has 2 equal couples. That’s part of the reason why it got reviewed bombed at the end (from 8.7-8.8 to 8.1; now 8.2). Some fans felt that their chosen couple didn’t get enough screen time (doesn’t matter which one… lol) so you know how it goes with overeager fandoms. But both couples have great moments and are equally important, in my opinion.
Very few people are interested in the watching yet another 2ML who pines over FL while not having any chance.…
I prefer it when 2ML has a clearly defined love interest that’s not FL (like what’s happening now with “Dream to You” where there are clearly defined 3 pairs). I’m not super upset about that but can understand feelings of other people — when a drama only has 10-12 episodes, it’s better to give more scenes to ML+FL, especially when it’s obvious that 2ML has no chance to be with FL. That was especially bad in “Positively Yours” because FL was pregnant with ML’s child AND ML wanted them to be a couple. 2ML is definitely not winning that battle 🤣
But I also agree that’s it’s a lot more interesting to watch dramas where both leads are smart/good at school/work/life as opposed to being opposites.
