You are welcome! I found some hidden gems from recommendations here, so trying to do my part :) If you will like the ML, heâs also in 2024 drama âYou Are My Lover Friendâ. Itâs the best friends-to-lovers drama (hard to pull off; also has two other good couples). My all-time favorite is âWhen I Fly Towards Youâ (high school/college; short; completely relaxing, drama free and funny; same author as HL and TFF). For adult romance my recommendation is âFake It Till You Make Itâ (also short; has a realistic feel; leads are banker and lawyer). Lastly, for fans of lighter historical/costume dramas thereâs âAre You the Oneâ with Wang Chu Ran (FL lead as this drama).

Have you watched The Day of Becoming You? Itâs a 2021 C-drama that is very humorous and with a good dose of romance. Technically, itâs a body-switching drama but itâs more about understanding other people and seeing things from their perspective. And, of course, thereâs recent The Best Thing but youâve probably watched it.
Second drama where Gina Jinâs character wonât end up with Yang Yangâs character? đ€Ł
If this were airing on Tencent/WeTV, this would have been the last scene of this drama â Yang Yang wakes up next to Dilraba who is cuddled up with their baby son, looks around at posters for Honor of Kings, and says âWhoa, what a strange dream I had!ââŠ. đđ€Łđ
Since the book is very long, are they really going to do only 1 season? Or will it be multiple seasons/multiple dramas (like Flourished Peony and In the Name of Blossom)?
According to current experience,I need coherent storytelling and reasonable finale than HE/OE/BEđ€Łđ€Łwith this…
Reasonble = reasonably good (for me personally, lol). But, I agree that in general a finale should fit with the rest of the storytelling. Iâm still grumpy about the last 1-2 episodes of The Demon Hunterâs Romance.
It's coming!!! Allegedly, the drama is soliciting investment... as a S+ drama! I bet they wished they had a S+…

Adapted from a popular novel: The series is adapted from the novel "We Live Together" by Hong Jiu, a writer from Jinjiang Literature City. The original novel has a certain fan base, which provides rich material and a solid story framework for the adaptation of the series.
Rich comedy elements: The series is full of humorous plots and dialogues. The various frictions and conflicts between the two in their shared life often lead to some hilarious jokes, allowing the audience to feel relaxed and happy while watching.
how about that last one best thing? I was he was playing super sweet seeing the promos (I havent watched, it will…
The Best Thing is very, very good. Itâs not THE best thing (misleading name, lol) but itâs very nice, mostly stress-free (except some things in the beginning & the end), and is definitely recommended, especially if you like one of the leads. It was being released about the same time as The First Frost and many TFF watchers (myself included) calmed ourselves by watching TBT after TFF :)
for real, people would call sangyan devoted and loyal but turn around and call yingtao obsessed and blind, when…
To be fair, in TFF we see a LOT more of things from FLâs side that explain what happened and why she is the way she is. Thatâs even setting aside differences in causes of separations.
Done watching this show a few days ago and I can say I liked it. For the romance viewers, it is a bad option but…
I enjoy slow-burn dramas (not everything needs to be very exciting/dramatic) but found this show to be more on the boring side. The two couples are good together though.
Havenât started I love the ml he in some of my favorite shows he may not be top star but he is refreshing since…
Itâs on Tencent/WeTV (at least, in the U.S.). The leads are good and two couples look good together. But thereâs too much filler material, especially with military side. Itâs almost always just training/exercises and itâs shot quite boringly.
I thought this was just gonna be fluffy with a bit of drama but now Katrina is pregnant which is going to be the…
In the drama version the Drake/Katrina thing appears to be just Drakeâs plot to prevent his dad from re-marrying. Not very smart but definitely more appropriate than the book version.
I wouldnât get my expectations too high for an explanation. This subplot wasnât in the book, looks like they…
Maybe they should just skip all of that and go straight to Book 3 (fanfic published in 2020, lol đ It covers their relationship after marriage apparently.

In the show so far Tripp is okay â he hasnât said or done anything bad, just trying (and failing) to talk to Alys. Honestly, Drake needs a good therapist. And â based on a summary of Book 2 â so will Alys and the other girl đ€°

Thank you! WOW, I suppose trying to break up the marriage for momâs sake is better than the book version đł Iâm aware of main story beats for Book 1 & 2 and very curious how they are going to set up Season 2. Or maybe they will skip it altogether â have DNA test for the baby show Drake is the father, have Katrina marry Drake and have Alys be happy with the other guy đ
