Don't include this drama for now. It only recently finished filming a few months ago and is still in post-production…
Very fair point. I just hope IQIYI doesn’t mess with the ending like they allegedly did with TDHR 🙏

Title Eat Run Love
Towards the end of the series, was anyone else more concerned about Ming Mei’s fate compared to the min couple?

Personally, I never rate anything until I finish watching it. And then this is still an in-progress ongoing drama…
MLis a doctor who sees & talk to a boy throughout the series which turns out to be a dead boy he couldn’t save in Africa (because there was an explosion during surgery not because ML made a mistake). To deal with this, ML begins taking medication but it makes him un-emotional (dead inside). To help deal with that, FL & his friends take a letter from the boy (as if he survived) and make ML come back to Africa. So, his mind actually does become better and we are heading for a happy ending… until ML gets kidnapped by terrorists. FL goes to Africa and spends a long time looking for him (in reality, he’s probably dead but we never find out for sure). So now it’s FL’s turn to become mentally unstable. She returns back to China but as a shell of her usual self and we end with her walking around seeing visions of ML. Like it’s not even an open ending, it’s clearly FL going insane and this is a terrible ending for what until point was more of a rom-com instead of a super serious psychological drama. Just absolutely insane 😡🤬🤯

Hmm… not the best ending but not the worst. Maybe I will give it a chance. I’m perpetually amazed at how badly drama writers manage to fumble endings. Unless it’s a drama based on real events, just give us a satisfying ending which fits all previous episodes without trying to throw a twist/obstacle at the very end. BTW, I highly do NOT recommend watching “A Beautiful Lie”. It was a good series until the last 2-3 episodes and rankings got hammered because of the absurd nonsensical ending 😢🥺🤯

Yes, go ahead and spoil it, please.

I'm anticipating this and hidden shadow. They have been holding back for long now 😭
I really want to see “Love Has Fireworks” with WCR & TJC. Not only would it be a different genre (rom-com) but I want WCR to become a monopolists when it comes to dramas with “firework(s)” in their name 🤣

You liked “Have a Crush on You”? The comments & reviews say the ending episode(s) are bad and don’t make sense (at least, from what I recall reading). Is that not true? Does it have a good even sing which actually fits the story?

Are we taking bets on whether WeTV/Tencent will release this before or after their much-delayed WCR modern drama (Love Has Fireworks)? Can we please ask all actors here to avoid getting into legal trouble 🙏🙏🙏

i stopped waiting for this drama. the drama of releasing this drama is more dramatic than this drama itself. i…
Coincidentally, all three platforms have a WCR drama that hasn’t been released. I hope actors get paid in advance :)

Each platform now has an unreleased WCR drama. We can be equally mad at all of them, lol 😞

Haha, I understand you. But it can be a little dangerous — sometimes even a talented actor can’t save a drama if screenwriters make bad decisions. For example, I really like Wang Chu Ran, but I won’t watch “Have a Crush on You” (writers ruined it).

I DIDN'T KNOW SECOND SEASON ARRIVED THIS FAST
They couldn’t even name it “season 2” because — supposedly — the government rules now mandate a year-long break between seasons (or something along those lines). So allegedly they got around this rule but pretending this is a separate drama 🙄🤣

Also, I don't think this drama deserves a 7.9, that's too low. If it stays like this then I'd say it's underrated.…
Personally, I never rate anything until I finish watching it. And then this is still an in-progress ongoing drama so rating it until it’s complete is not questionable (unless you change rating after every episode). If the ending is good, it will probably end up being 8.x (8.2?). The season is not bad but there are valid reasons to question some of the decisions made by writers.

Isn’t “Love is for the Dogs” just another name for this drama (that’s how it’s listed on Viki, for example)? At least, I couldn’t find any other movie or drama with that name 🥺

It’s so cheesy in the best way possible. I’m addicted now! But- I can’t believe it’s only one episode…
One episode per week seems to be standard for Filipino dramas. I’m very thankful they do recaps before every episode 😁

This review was written when only 2 or 3 episodes had been released, so it feels unfair to judge it based on that or claim you’ve seen “16 of 16 episodes”. For what it’s worth, this is based on a Wattpad “novel” from 2012-2013 so you can’t expect super serious dialogues of adult-oriented drama. The budget looks okay for a Filipino drama — it’s not a super polished production like on a K/C-drama but there’s certain charm to it. The lead actress is very good and believable in her role so far (through 5 episodes). ML (Drake) is one of those typical “dead inside” characters so there’s not much for the actor to do but later episodes (which review author didn’t watch) show more sides to his character. But, again, this is a high-school comedic drama not an Oscar-winning production.

Title Seducing Drake Palma Spoiler
i hate sheen uk he is always roaming around kei who doesn't like him anymore for know maybe she will realise that…
I suppose it’s realistic that Sheen can’t get over Kei so easily and is still chasing her. But, yeah, that couple (not a couple?) isn’t as interesting as what’s going on with DrakLys and KenYa ☺️

It’s because it’s produced on the same production company that produced all the dramas you mentioned. There…
