First ep was so fun, i love that they’re both a lil evil, the acting is so good too, i’m investedUpdate: i…
From what we’ve seen the FL doesn’t seem evil at all, she just didn’t put up with any nonsense back then so got a bad reputation. But that will help her now to whip the ML… like, literally whip him, lol

After all the hard times FL has back in Joseon, kind of wish she would settle down with a nice guy and led a peaceful life. But now she has to change a red flag 🚩 (black flag?) person so at least it will be funny 😆

It’s n average drama so far (5/12 episodes). It’s not as good as Once Upon a Small Town, not as good as Hometown…
This drama borrows sleepwalking element from The First Frost. And in TFF, the FL didn’t really leave ML for his own good (but not spoiling it for others).

They should’ve done 36-40 episode of Flourished Peony as 1 season instead of dragging it out into 2 seasons 😣 First 14-15 episodes of season 2 were mostly irrelevant because the leads kept taking turns being thrown into prison. I love the leads, love the cast, love the production but writing felt like someone tried to make a more female-centric / business oriented version of Are You the One but with less success. How’s A Splendid Match so far?

Great! I really like TFF in part because they do provide a very good reason for things to have happened the way they did… which is more than we can say for most dramas where writers just pick a random excuse out of a hat 🎩 in order to create tension 🙄🙄🙄

They are clearly trying to show he cares a lot about her but it’s just not very well written / thought out.

I totally agree with you on everything but there’s actually an explanation for how he found her. He made her write down her address when she signed a agreement not to sneak into his house again. Why did he make her put her address there? Only for the sole purpose of explaining how he knows her address in the later episode! 🤣

WIFTY is my favorite high school / college age drama; not sure how it can get any better. It’s similar to how “You Are My Lover Friend” sets a very high bar for friends-to-lovers dramas.
About TFF, I’ve seen watched it on Netflix but they don’t translate episode titles/music so YOUKU may be better for full immersion. Really good soundtrack too :)

I liked HL but not ever being a teen girl, it’s my third-favorite of that author’s dramas (WIFTY #1; TFF #2; HL #3). One thing you want to keep in mind when watching TFF is that it follows the HL & TFF novels when it comes to Sang Zhi & Duan Jiaxu age gap (~7 years) instead of the HL drama’s 5 year gap.

Haha… sometimes you just want something chill and not stressful. And holidays is when I usually feel that way which makes AASOL so fitting, but yes, it’s not the best drama ever. FYI, another drama from Hidden Love/The First Frost universe is coming in the fall (exact time TBD).

Yes, it would be SO MUCH BETTER if she sold defective product that could ruin the shopping network and the company /sarcasm 🙄😣

TFF is not a winter drama per se. First Frost is the FL’s name/nickname because of when she was born. The perfect winter drama is Amidst a Snowstorm of Love — begging part (and some others) were filmed in Finland 🇫🇮 during wintertime so it has actual real snow ❄️ not fake drama snow. I rewatch every year around Christmas / New Year’s because it’s very chill, slow burn and has the right winter-y mood (the beginning of first episode was filmed during an actual snowstorm so it’s peak winter mood 🥶 ❄️ ⛄️). It is kind of funny, though, how they refuse to use real city names (maybe to match the book) even though you can look up places/restaurants and see it was in Finland, lol 😆

TBT was a perfect drama to watch along with TFF — one was mostly calm & peaceful while the other was a lot more emotional (one of the worst moms ever! 🥺😢)

In preview for episode 6 they made it seem like FL got into huge trouble and was going to be fired from HiT because network and company were unhappy. Things like that 🙄

It’s n average drama so far (5/12 episodes). It’s not as good as Once Upon a Small Town, not as good as Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha and not as good as The First Frost. Those are the three most obvious dramas the writer/creators are referencing. So I’d not start it until it’s finished and the verdict is in.

The less we think about how unrealistic and implausible everything in this drama is, the better. I thought after last week things were looking up, but maybe not 😳

The entire premise is kind of ridiculous if you think about it and I wish the writer wasn’t as sloppy. Even supposing the company truly had no stock of already-made products, there was no need to advertise anything until a contract for supplies was signed and, especially, not give a very short deadline for the company to make AND to test the product. If they care about quality control, they wouldn’t rush anything.
And that’s even not taking into account what they showed in the preview for episode 6 🙄🙄🙄
