Haha… my feelings are similar, but I must say that Dynamite Kiss and Would You Marry Me are actually some of…
Thanks! I’ve watched Can This Love Be Translated (probably best recent K-drama) and have Last Summer and Love Me in my list. Positively Yours had a good beginning and promising concept but wish they’d have focused more on the pregnancy & their relationship instead of other things (someone mentioned there was more FL+2ML screen time then FL+ML, lol).
Genuine question, what is not boring in your opinion? I haven’t watched many K-dramas this year so did I miss…
Hmm… I see your point. I’m a fan of slice of life / slow burn dramas, so this plot is exiting enough for me, but yes, it’s not as exciting as, say, beginning of K2 :)
Honestly though, I’m more worried about the last third of the drama. So many recent K-dramas had a good beginning & middle, but completely dropped the ball in second half / last third 😢
Well, C-drama plots are enough to divert us. I find C-dramas beneficial in terms of K-drama's weekly episodes,…
Perfect Crown 👑 is a welcome place for our brains to rest after watching VoS. We are all in a perpetual state of confusion caused by all the twists & turns 🤯
I don't know if its because in the last 12 months 80% of k-drama were trash, but now i trust 0% in any release. All…
Haha… my feelings are similar, but I must say that Dynamite Kiss and Would You Marry Me are actually some of the better recent dramas which is a verdict about the quality of recent releases 🙄 So many dramas go off the deep end and become bad in the last third / half 😳
BTW, are there any recent K-dramas that you enjoyed? Seems we have a similar opinions, so maybe you can recommend something I missed 🤓
Are we all the same?? I've also been into cdrama lately as not much happened in kdramaland!
I seem to be watching more of C-dramas lately too. The last K-drama that has stuck with me is “Can This Love Be Translated” which, coincidentally, was written by Hong sisters who wrote Hotel Del Luna which starred IU 🥰
Since I recently watched the cdrama 'Pursuit of Jade' I keep imagining the Queen Mother as an evil Yu QuianQuian…
2FL in PoJ loves her son so much🥰 She’s really a great mom unlike a majority of queens in historical dramas who oftentimes don’t care about their sons or care but in a wrong way (like in this drama). Of course, the explanation is that YQQ is from the modern world so she’s a like a normal person today not like a crazy noblewoman of the past
Hulu really makes it hard to see the previews and credits so I didn’t see an epilogue Was it after the preview?
Yes, it starts after previews (about 3 minutes before end of the episode, at least on Disney+). Do you have Disney+ in your region? I prefer to watch on their player/app.
It’s pretty common, unfortunately, for haters/antis to leave reviews and rate episodes claiming they’ve watched…
Yes, I agree wholeheartedly! In the same vein, I don’t understand obsession over who gets top billing out of the two leads. Apparently that’s a huge deal in C. entertainment industry but it leads to huge fights/arguments not just between fandoms but also between actor/actress companies. Like we almost didn’t have the wonderful Pursuit of Jade because agencies of the leads have a huge dislike for each other due to a “top billing” dispute between other clients in a different drama 🙄🥺
