Honestly, yeah the drama is good so far. It has that contract marriage vibe that turns into something real, and the chemistry between the characters is amazing. If you like this type (fake to real + royal vibes), I think you’ll enjoy it.

How are people saying this doesn’t deserve a 9.1 and comparing it to completely different dramas? Not every show needs to be heavy, complex, or full of twists to be good. This drama knew exactly what it wanted to be and delivered it well from the chemistry and acting to the pacing and overall vibe.
It might feel simple to some, but that doesn’t mean it’s poorly written. Sometimes doing a simple story right is harder than overcomplicating things. The characters were consistent, the emotions felt natural, and it clearly connected with a lot of viewers that’s why it has a 9.1.
At the end of the day, ratings reflect how much people enjoyed something, not just how “deep” or “different” it is. You don’t have to like it, but calling it undeserving just because it’s not your type doesn’t really make sense.

Honestly agree, it’s the best k-drama airing right now. It really keeps you hooked and makes you want more, which is rare lately. And both IU’s subtle expressions and Byeon Woo Seok’s presence are definitely highlights for me.
