If we’re talking critically, then consistency, pacing, and execution matter just as much as originality. Not every story needs to reinvent the genre to be well-written. Using familiar tropes well is still good writing.
A 9.1 doesn’t just reflect hype it reflects how well it connected, delivered its tone, and satisfied its audience. That is part of quality, not separate from it.
So it’s not really ‘disproportionate’ it just values a different aspect of storytelling than what you personally prioritize.

Sounds like you expected a completely different kind of drama. Not everything needs big twists or intense scenes to work. The 9.1 speaks for itself clearly it did what it was meant to. If it felt boring to you, it’s probably just not your type, not a weak story.

I care about her too. I hope one day the truth will come out and she will get justice, even though she doesn't exist anymore. But even so, I am very sad about what happened to her. I hope she rests in peace.
