It's good but slow... I mean very slowwww
A story where two flawed and broken people find happiness(not the usual kdrama happiness where everything is fluffy and cute and cringe). It is a story which revolves around two people their crappy ex. Korea has a thing of contract marriages this year have seen many contract marriage dramas..The trunk was an highly anticipated drama of 2024 and for all this anticipation it did disappoint me a little:( the drama was sooo...how do you call it?? It did not have that x factor which pinned me on my sofa to watch it.. I hope you got what i meant;) I was about to drop it but for Gong yoo i gave it another chance.
The performances by all the actors was above par they all did the best they could for what was provided to them. I love slow burn romances but this was a slow as a snail:/ I felt like the male lead is a baby with a lot of attachment issues in a big man's body and the female lead who is not ready to move on from her past.
The cinematography is commendable and the background score is also good. All of male leads cars are soooo god;]
So if you like slow burn romance with dark themes go for it it is a good watch

High Hopes drifted into BLACK HOLE
I had very high hopes for a Lee Min Ho drama but it is not the actors but the drama is poorly written like if it's outside earth you can write anything?? Mahn this drama had high potential and the story could be written well but NO!!! with great budget comes unrealistic story line :|Nevertheless I am very happy I could see a normal Lee Min Ho not a prince, not a chaebol and an ultra rich male lead :) For the first time ever I love the love rivals. The actors did a very good job ( they did the best with what was given to them). the drama dives into interesting themes such as space, embryo development, Space station, solar flares which is not usually handled by average kdrama storyboard and to foray into new less experimented genre is really commendable. The efforts to make it like an area in zero gravity is really commendable. The cinematography is fine. The OST is also good. But not having a good storyboard undermines the efforts of all the above.
When the stars gossip is a one time watch if you have finished all of your backlog kdramas.

Did I like it?? Yes...Maybe...
First things first season 2 did not come up to the level of season 1..season 1 was wayyyyy good it created a global impact!!did season 2 live upto the expectations od season 1?? No it did not...It is definitely a good watch setting up the atmosphere for season 3.The cast was definitely expensive 🙃 and refreshing, everyone did play thier role well. The story in itself was all over the place, it was squid game at one point then it became money heist...lol... I thought if the games are same won't it be boring??but season 2 had new games it was refreshing. The cinematography, background score like last time is soo good.
Squid game season 2 is a very good watch if you liked season 1 you will definitely like season 2. Do give it a watch.

A fresh take on Boss-secretary dynamics
Love scout is like a fresh take on Boss-secretary love story. Since what's wrong with secretary Kim there has been a number of dramas on the same line, It's the usual storyline rich boss falling in love with ultra poor employee lots of hardship a kiss and happily ever after blehhhh... the same formula in different bottles.Love scout is different a strong career oriented female lead and an equally strong male lead falling in love and becoming each others support. This drama does not lag and the story runs at a good pace and as the story revolves around a scouting company each episode offers a new story of people in different field. There is no complicated misunderstanding [the couples solve their issue within 1 episode and I like it ;) ], no cliched love triangle, no unrealistic world problems. Love scout is a plain beautifully written realistic romantic drama.
The cast did their part beautifully ( though at times I found the male lead to be a little stiff), the cinematography is chefs kiss.
Love scout is a good drama to start 2025 do give it a watch

It's something different and new
So yeah I finished watching the drama just now and hereis my review fresh out of the oven!!!This drama is definitely something new from the usual kdrama trope touching sensitive topics and what impressed me the most the ML definitely shattered all the hailed toxic masculinity he shows his weakness his emotions openly and that is not something kdramas show it is always the ML saving the damsel in distress but here oh mahn the FL is this strong woman who indeed saves the ML. The love story of our ju ju couple is simple and beautiful. No unwanted dramas and twists and turns, they solve their issues like matured couples and there is no cringe aigooo moments. They are one of the veryfew green flag couple's who support and rooot for each other.
The side stories of the supporting characters were also sweet and short and did not bore me. The story was also nice and simple a good slice of life story I liked it. The cast also gave a good performance.
So if you are in for a good slice of life feel good drama brewing love is a good one.

If you are in doubt to give this drama a chance DONTT!!! You will love it
mahn the series has all my attention...If you liked drams like Atypical family, moving etc you will like this one gor sure.The gifted people storyline is not new but the execution is definitely interesting the way they do not give us any idea of the gifts of the characters is new, usually kdramas introduce the gifts of characters early on in every shows.This drama is definitely underrated I don't get why it is not getting the attention it truly deserves.Do give it a chance you will not regret it:):)

A love story between a headstrong eldest one in the family who is expected to be the pillar of the family often letting go of her intrests and comfort (I am sure many of us can relate to this) and a young rich chaebol who is expected to be perfect as per the social norms. The trope is often heard of but the show potrays the vulnerabilities and weakness of the characters and how they overcome that in a light way. It is not heavy as I mentioned earlier it is a light hearted romcom. Though people have criticized the age difference between the leads it is not that they are decades apart 😂 they are only 4-5 years apart and the dynamics is well established. The leads acting is okish not that phenomenal. The story is like an average one we have seen similar kdramas and is very predictable. The OST and cinematography is fine.
My dearest nemesis is good one time watch romcom.

A drama that justifies the title....
Melo movie is indeed a melodrama. A beautifully written story of love, second chances, farewell and healing.It is slow paced drama ( though at times were a little too much slow) which beautifully shows the relationship dynamics between the characters. More than a love story I liked how it portrays the strains in relationships and how people overcome and heal. Though there were heavy topics in the drama it handles it in a very delicate and light manner for the audience. The love between the brothers is too good to bear for my little heart.
Choi Woo Shik and Park Bo Young in a drama ooyea sign me up for it. They are pros for a reason. Kim Jae Wook did a very good job playing the elder brother of Ko Gyum. Whole of the cast did an awesome job. The OST, cinematography in this drama was chefs kiss.
In short I loved this drama its a beautifully written story so do give it a watch :)

I need a season 2 and season 3 asap....This medical drama is the best out there. It screams perfection....The cast the direction the cinematography all is perfecto...
Since Dr. Romantic 1 all other medicap dramas did not leave much of an impact but this one right here is daebak...chinchaa debak

Mysteriously Intriguing
The light shop has got all my attention..Its dark mysterious and thrilling. The drama touches upon the sensitive topics of life which I am sure everyone of us been through or have thought about of.The drama is a psychological horror that keeps us on our toes. It made me cry every now and then. The story does not wander off and is to the point taking turns to tell the story of each character. Each episode has blown me away and is definitely not predictable. It is a beautifully written drama and I enjoyed every bit of it.
Perfect cinematography with perfect storyline and direction with an excellent cast did give us a good drama to end the year 2024.
If you are in doubt to watch The light shop guys trust me on this you will not be disappointed. The light shop will definitely leave its mark on you. ^^

Mahn oh mahn this drama has got me hooked literally hooked!! Infact I am writing this review out of my frustration for waiting for the next episodes. The drama is sooo good it is a perfect mix of romance, suspense,thriller, action and what not...so stop doubting and give it a chance. It's been soo long since I have waited eagerly for each episode of a drama. Each episode ends in a insanely epic cliffhanger which keeps you on your toes for an entire week. The story is finger lickin good it is I think a romance thriller. The chemistry between the leads is literally chemistrifying ;) Yoo Yeon-seoks performance in this drama is soo gooood that I would watch this drama again just for him. The cinematography, the OST, the supporting actors, direction is all upto the mark. So When the phone rings is definitely a very good watch.I thank the korean universe for gifting me this wonderful drama to end the year 2024...

The best kdrama out there.....
Calling this drama a masterpiece would be an understatement this drama is just wonderfulit made me cry, laugh and what not. This drama for sure is my most favorite one. Its been soo long since a very good heart warming kdrama. I am happy i am sooo happy
A masterclass script!!!I have said it in my other reviews that no matter what rocket budget and star castline you have if the script isn't good it is a lost cause, my dear kdrama enthusiasts this drama is a gem a pure gem, it ain't no mega story with a unrealistic plotline it is a heart warming slice of life romance story...Gwani and Aesun has all my heart🥹 when I say bring me a good romantic drama this is what I am asking for. Sooo gooood.
IU and Park Bogum is the best casting for this drama. If they can make a cold hearted person like me cry by their acting it means that they are phenomenal. The supporting cast has also done a wonderful job. The cinematography is just beautiful. After welcome to samdalri this drama has captured the beauty of jeju so wonderfuly. The OST is like Cherry on the cake.
My dear people who are reading this review do not doubt give this drama a chance as person who has watched 100s of kdramas I vouch for this drama.
When life gives you tangerines is a true masterpiece.
