Okay, the first two episodes were really enjoyable, but now the drama’s gotten so predictable. I’m just gonna wait until episode 11 drops and then jump back in. Yeah… I’m skipping episodes 5 through 10 and only watching the last four.
My genuine review of Moon Lovers Scarlet Heart Ryeo is this no matter how much I love the leads, when I first watched it at 14, I didn’t really understand it. The ending made me cry, but now that I'm 19 and rewatching, the story doesn’t make sense at all. I’m on episode 8, and the relationships are more tangled than a math problem.
IU’s character, Hae Soo (originally Go Ha-jin), is from the future but now is living in the past. She’s Hae Soo now girl, stop falling for Hae Soo’s cousin’s husband. And the 8th Prince? He’s way creepier and disloyal than I remembered. How could he fall for his wife’s cousin? That’s not justifiable.
The political setup is interesting, but the drama also shows a step-sibling marriage, which honestly feels disturbing to me. Now that I’m older, the story feels narrow, messy, and morally confusing. And no, I don’t care what the fandom says I genuinely can’t stand Wang So. The older I get, the more unhinged he feels. Bro’s trauma is tragic, sure, but that does not excuse half the stuff he does. I’m watching this like… girl, run.
The office stuff is completely boring and unrealistic. That's not how you run a business. I'm just skipping to…
Yeah, I agree but maybe since it’s set in the 1990s they’re just being chill about it. Like they had seen the history themselves so who knows? After all, it’s just a fictional story inspired by real-life events in Korea.
my Natureeeeeeeeee SOOOOOOOOOOOO muchhh stresss while WATCHING thissssssss!! I am putting this on hold!! and going to rewatch love in clouds!! until all the eps dropped!! sorry LYX
lol i think they should’ve listed the cast as SMY, BHH, SCH, MYM, and ZSA — as Main leads and then put everyone else under “supporting characters.” like seriously, MYM barely even gets screen time with ZSA. what’s up with that??
