The drama Perfect couple which is also called as "Fate Chooses You". ML is played by Ren Jialun. So if this gets released in October (not sure but most probably) then they might not release Love and Crown at the same time.
Because of how much i loved her performance in Coroner's Diary, I've started watching The Starry Love today.
It may be frustrating in the beginning because all 3 leads are scheming against each other all the time and ML 's are red flag but later all 3 have character development which was so satisfying and believable. You might think how come Jiang Ci can fall for Wei Zhao but you will get to know exactly why and the reason is amazing. Also Wei Zhao's transition from anti hero to hero was believable and astonishing.
Maybe you can try watching because story gets unfold in a better way. If you feel like you're forcing yourself to watch then you can drop it because l know this genre is not everyone's cup of tea.

I just love LoN so much tbh. If you like smart and brilliant leads scheming against each other, heavy politics with romance as subplot then sure you will like this. Landy Li plays sunshine FL somewhat similar to Yetan which I like the most. She has good chemistry with Ren Jialun so it was good watching them together. Try watching it.

Did you watch Love of Nirvana? that is where l got to know Landy Li for the first time and l was blown by her acting. I just love that drama because the script is soo good. If you have not watched it then you should.

Yes, l tried watching TPoB and The Double but couldn't continue at all and l dropped this year. l don't know why but now l have the mood to rewatch LoN ( l think after watching One and Only l can watch any sad dramas at this point 😆) .
Sometimes l watch few clips of TDHR as it's soo comforting to watch but now l will continue rewatching LoN. I too feel that these idol dramas are really so boring and they fool us as the trailers are so serious but the dramas turns out to be a romcom which is so sad.
Me waiting for RJL's other dramas to be released but seems like we are gonna get back to back at the end of this year🥲. l hope they could have released LaC by now but yeah they are not 🥲. Same here, l want RJL to take good scripts like this itself. He really knows to pick good scripts. Because of this same reason l will watch his dramas no matter what.

Also just love the fact how he chooses different roles and each role he plays with perfection. l became a big fan of him for the same reason as well as for how good he is in real life. l hope his future works to be good as the previous ones so that you can continue writing reviews and on the other hand we all can enjoy watching and get inspired too 😊.

Yes you are correct when they have official duties l think they are supposed to have similar hairstyle. But when they are out of that what l noticed was they had opposite hairstyle and that too they were against each other at that time. Even if you notice when they were at Nanling not even once their hairstyle matched. I thought it was to indicate that they were enemies. But later when they started working for each other we can see how their hairstyle matched. Like l didn't see Wei Zhao having that long hair hairstyle or Pei Yan. This is just what l felt while watching. It's simply my understanding, l am not very expert in finding details 😂

I don't know if l am correct or not but what l have noticed is that both the male leads had opposite hairstyle in the beginning for example Wei Zhao had that long hair hairstyle whereas Pei Yan had that fully tied up and vice-versa(during that nanling case). But later they had that same tied up hairstyle when they actually started working together. This is what l thought not sure if my interpretation is correct.
