Yes, if it's a contract ending drama the agency will not treat that actor in a good way since that person will be leaving. I agree with the fact he got barely few amount of screentime during the last few episodes. This thing exactly happened in his other contact ending drama that is Love and Crown. There too he barely appeared in few episodes despite of being ML. I too thought this would be a male centric one but it is not unfortunately.

I just wished they could have shown more about what happened to him after being a perfect war demon instead of just showing Mei searching him. They gave a good ending for other characters but they didn't spend good time to give satisfying ending for our leads 🥲.

I do think he got some of the good fighting scenes here especially in the starting and the middle of the drama when he was loosing his powers he had to put more efforts (we saw how he was using his sword) it's that in the climax since he became too strong, the scene was short.

As for A Sheng and Xin Mei, they weren't powerful as Xia Xuanzi so they had to fight for the long time so the scene looked long.

Agree with the fact that ML didn't get much screentime.This is one of the Ren Jialun's contract ending dramas so it's understandable why he didn't get much focus as his agency tried to promote other actors using his name and that's why we got to see so many characters here.

The reason why ML could easily and effortlessly defeat Li Mofu in the end was because he was a perfect war demon. Perfect war demons have enormous power and his opponent was no match for him as he was just a cultivator not any god so that's why he could easily defeat him.

He did kissing scenes if the script really needed like for example in TDHR which was released last year he did.

Agree, very much excited for today's episodes. Our couple is going to get more time together and I can't wait to see that also excited for that ascension scene of QQ to great completion stage it looked so powerful.

That marriage bond not only saves QQ but also Xin Mei when she is in the verge of death is what we have to understand I guess. It's nice how that bond not only saves him but it saves her too so both got equally in their marriage. Also I like how he gets a caution alarm whenever she is in trouble because of that bond 😅.

Same, we don't know QQ's birthday but I am assuming that he might be that 9/9 saviour. It might happen because this writer always likes to give something from out of the box.

I too miss watching him on set. It has been many months without him filming. Though I am happy seeing him actively participating in music festivals, opening his personal art centre etc but I really want him to film (me being selfish 😂).

Either he is purposely taking a long break or from what I observe he is getting thinner again so I am assuming whether he is preparing for his next role (maybe for that Tang Dynasty epic), not sure though. Yes, we want our big brother back on the set.

For the heat index it's understandable because first of all, it's not romance based and then the views get split because it's released in two platforms.

Most of the times RJL's dramas are not given high promotion or they are just airdropped so this treatment is quite understandable too. But I do feel this has the potential to be one of the best xianxia because of it's writing, directing and the theme.

Yes, I love how Lu Qian Qiao and Xin Mei become ferocious and ruthless when they see any injustice. I really enjoy to see them being badass. I am waiting for them to be a power couple but at the same time I don't know how are they going to solve those things between them.

Also it's nice to see how LQQ is showing more emotions than before as he proceeds with the transformation. Now he is becoming more like a human.

So what I was thinking is becoming human was just a trial he was going through in order to be a perfect war demon without any curses. This is what I was assuming from the start but yeah now I am a bit confused. If he gains his powers back I think he has not completely transformed into human but again don't know how it is. As you said let's see how the plot unfolds and I hope it will be logical and surprising.

Now when l reread the introduction I understood. Since heavenly ladder is broken and jianmu tree is not grown completely, war demons can't see gods and get rid of their curses so LQQ choose another way that is to become human in order to get rid of those curses. This is what you meant right?

That means once he transforms into human he will naturally loose all his powers right? But if he looses his powers how can he save the world like just in case if he was born on September 9th?
