He is such a pitiful character as his loved ones hate him, he is lonely, everyone wants him dead, his teacher itself is a biggest villain and he has no parents too. Preceptor Du, though appears to be good I can't believe her. At this point he needs a support and someone whom he can completely trust to tackle the conflicts but there is no one. Feeling so bad for him as well as Cang Cang.

Yes l agree, some things are better to not to know. I agree with your example, it would have been so good if Xuanye would not know the truth. How good his life would be if he didn't knew. But I do believe one or the other day truth comes out and at that time Cang Cang is going to suffer more because not only she will get to know the truth but she will know the real Xiao Huan who did so many things for her.

Yes, Xiao Huan miscalculated the whole thing because no matter how many years you were with your loved ones, the amount of getting hurt from your loved ones is the same. He is smart at the same time he is dumb is what I feel.

Have you watched his drama Twilight? He is soo funny there. Romance is a subplot there but the script is very layered and amazing. Very healing to watch also very underrated.

Is XH tells her the truth she wouldn't believe it until she sees it from her own eyes. Seriously her dad is too much. He doesn't care about her at all. Episode 10 was truly heartbreaking. I wish Cang Cang would understand why he was so sad giving that birth control tea because you can see through his eyes how unwilling he was. I hope she realises that there are reasons why he did that but I think she will again get mad at him😭.

This drama and Fate Chooses You are the ones he is forced to do and it's not that he selected this as these are his contract ending dramas with his previous agency. He is taking serious roles now since he has freedom to choose whatever he likes and all are non romance genre.

Yes, Xiao Huan is somewhat right being overprotective towards Cang Cang. When she found out the secret place of her master and that mask she couldn't believe at all then how would she believe if Xiao Huan tells her the truth. So for this situation what he did was correct. But l do wish Cang Cang to find the truth ASAP so that they both can work together. Seriously, this is getting more and more interesting. You analysed it so well. I wholeheartedly agree with all of your points. At first I thought Xiao Huan is not smart just being a puppet of grand tutor but yes he is moving very smartly and he knows what was actually happening.

Also loved the way he was protecting Cang Cang from empress dowager ( I personally loved RJL's expressions in the scene where he gets to know maids are listening and he purposely broke the cup so that they would think he was angry. I quickly understood he was simply putting a show).

I was wondering whether Xiao Huan truly loves her or not. I was happy to know that he truly loves her because at first I thought he married her because he solely wanted power.

Also l feel cang cang is not naive but she is just kept in the dark by everyone so it looks like that. She knows that there is some reason why Xiao Huan killed her master so she is eager to find the truth. I hope Xiao Huan gets both his love and crown not choosing between love or crown. Excited to see what happens next.

In Ren Jialun's first drama The Glory of Tang Dynasty he played the role of crown prince who later became emperor. So this is his second time playing this kind of role. Yes I was waiting to see him as an emperor and my dream came true. I am loving his majestic aura.
