Douban rating is 6.5 — which I think is quite good for a modern drama, especially for one starring Zhao Lusi. If someone wants to call it “poor,” that’s completely their choice. I’m personally thrilled that Love’s Ambition is a huge success. It has dominated the viewership charts and has already reached around 56 million per episode online — clearly, plenty of people are enjoying it just like I am.
Negative one-star reviews on Douban mostly look like targeted attacks on Lusi and PS accusations, rather than fair criticism of the drama itself.
At the end of the day, normal viewers decide for themselves whether a drama or movie is good for them — not random strangers online. Hidden Love got 6.1 or something, but I personally rated it 10/10.Same with FF -some people didn’t love it as much as I did.

Better to say not your cup of tea. Plot was a bit draggy for 4 or 5 episodes with chinese culture empowerment. For most viewers including me , main leads chemistry was top notch which gives butterflies in your stomach. But sure everyone have their own views.

Too many people created account in the last 10 days and act as Lusi lovers saying plot is bad but I will watch for her. The intension is clear. When someone see a post like that, they will think again to start it or not. In my eyes, the plot was absolutely amazing until ep 19. Then it changed to very sweet rom com mod until 24. From 24 to 27, It is a mix of both. Based on the preview, last 4 episodes will be amazing as first half. People loved "summer I turned pret..... " . It is fun to watch but for me dating brothers seems creepy. Not everyone likes everything. So find it yourself other than listening to others.

Until ep 18. It was absolutely amazing. 19 to 23 was funny which I don't prefer in a serious drama. Today I feel like the plot is getting serious again. Hope it helps
