So he decided himself to get admitted without letting the FL know. He eventually got a bit better and got married , not in a ceremony. But the ML cannot be cured and the couple decide to 'Elope'. If you are a positive person, you may think, they lived okay in the countryside. But the show ends with them admiring white olive tree in their after life as spirits.Which hints elope means elope to death. I think negatively, so this show has a sad ending. Hope it helps

Yes. For the leads. Ben died. Zan's ptsd never got better. But looks like leads are living okay in countryside. My advise. Good. Last 4 episodes are too much in slow motion. So watching at 2x speed was great

How you know? . That is great if it is true. I was devastated by the novel. Even without epilogue, it is very sad in my view. It must be healing completely in the drama not like in the novel.

Even without epilogue, it is a very tragic story of a brave women who sacrificed (may not be the right word) everything to heal her husband but failed. Even without suicide, unless they change the ending to be healing completely, this is a sad story. Novel is emotionally very strong than drama and it is a good thing.
