Imo, a crime is a crime regardless the reasoning. A crime should not be romanticized even if it’s for a drama but that’s just my personal opinion.

The question was simple, is the behavior acceptable? We agreed with your answer and I added that some people can be influenced, is that a wrong statement? I believe that is also a fact, especially when we look at the behavior in inner cities for example.

Yes, media literacy is definitely needed when we see the current state of most societies.

Who is asking for censorship? And yes, work of fiction can definitely influence. We see that a lot in my sociology classes. Certain types of crimes, behaviors (good or bad) can become normalized when people see it in entertainment. Of course we cannot stop people but that was not my question. Even “good” people can be influenced. We’ve seen a few times “he/she was such a nice person, I never thought…”… anyway, it was a question to see where we stand on this stalking portrayed in the drama.

My worry is that some can interpret it as ok. The messages in movies and songs can shape a culture in real life. I’m just hoping that the viewers will not carry this specific message out in real life. We have enough crazy people on the loose.
