The only romance I’ve seen him in was “Live Up to Your Name”, he was the lead and so good in that drama.
You are a real one for this 🥹💯!! I tend to be “loyal” to the pairings I make in my head while watching romance but now I know to go with an opened and relaxed mind. I’ll enjoy it better now.

I’m going to check Bad Guy TODAY!😅… He was so good in the romance one I’ve seen with him that I need to see more lol, thank you for the heads up on the ending, I’ll be less disappointed.
Today’s episodes got me all over the place emotionally. Ep 10 how the second sister was welcomed in the family…
4th sis needs to get herself together or else divorce will be coming her way. 3rd sis, I have a feeling that a financial crisis will hit them. A few people have been telling her to stop spending like that.
I hope 3rd sister is keeping receipts for all the expensive purchases just in case. I don’t know why but I have a feeling that a financial crisis is coming. Why did they show us her husband checking feathers? I think maybe I had to pay attention to see something like a warning on that scene but I can’t see it.
I agree with you. Also, life then was especially hard in China and people often looked older because they are…
You are right, hard life will make people look older. This is one of the reasons I don’t like historical dramas where the men all look pretty lol, it’s not realistic for the time.
Complaining about the men in this drama not being “eye candies” is a bit odd imo. This is supposed to be life (real life) of the time. I’m assuming the casting was done intentionally. In real life, how often do we see really handsome men in our every lives? Let’s be for real 😩. Also the criteria back then was mostly on the man’s ability to provide for his family and how he’d take care of them not his looks. We can see how third sister picked the one with acne scars, not handsome but he’s good to her. I like that men are not “eye candies” here, it makes me relate to the show more. It brings “realness” to the drama.
Out of all the matches so far, I like JiaHuan one’s better. He suits her, her personality is more matured and she’s bossy. He is older and has “experience” since he was married before, he can tolerate her personality and will know how to work around it. He was able to “read” her and she liked that he could see through her facade. Hopefully they clear out the misunderstanding. He is on the pic with all the sons in laws at the end so I’m assuming it’ll work well.
The casting was weird, actors look way older than the characters they play. Fang Tao is supposed to be 6yrs older than her max. She’s around 21-22 so that puts him at 28 max but he looks older. I think for this drama we should ignore the looks, I mean, we are supposed to accept that the fl actress is in her mid thirties 🫠.
Trigger warning: SA and women ending themselves.
Yes, I agree! More romance with him pleeeease! 😄
