Today’s episodes got me all over the place emotionally. Ep 10 how the second sister was welcomed in the family was heartwarming but I can tell her sil is going to try some stinky things. The third sister is annoying but I she also touched me when she acknowledged the dad selling the sunflower seeds. Then ep 11 finished me with the tears today, I needed to drink water to replenish.
Umm I am at ep 3 and still not getting into it. Does it get better? should I continue?
It’s a good drama but not amazing and it’s not a storyline we don’t know. We can guess what will happen but we continue to watch because it’s a break from serious dramas and because we are “in between dramas”. If you have something else to watch, put this one on hold for when you have nothing to watch.
Ep 11…😮💨 I should have waited longer before starting this drama, this is one to binge watch. I’m going to repeat myself again but so far this drama is one of the best I’ve seen in this genre.
We need more people talking about this amazing show 😭. The intro song, omg makes me nostalgic for moments I’ve never experienced lol, it’s so good. The storyline is great too.

The male ego. At the time men (especially European ones) believed that women didn’t have souls and that menstrual cycle was a curse. Women are also weaker physically so they couldn’t handle the fact that we could excel in anything. Such tragedy when you think of it.
This show makes me wonder about how many innocents who were “gifted”/ahead in thinking” have been killed throughout history while being accused of being “witches”. All that just because they were among poor and uneducated people who couldn’t understand logic nor think deeper.
Ep. 1 for example when she used that powder to make the flames of the torche bigger and all the common folks saw “witchcraft”. Sometimes being too smart is a curse when you are among simple minded people.
I decided to watch cuz I needed something to help me stay up while I was doing my hair. I’m pleasantly surprised by how good this show is so far, my hair is done and it’s way passed my bedtime but I cannot stop watching 🙃.
