Only 3 episodes left, this drama might be the first I watch where I have anxiety during all the episodes. She was miserable throughout the entire show but this is one of the best sageuk. The storyline is very different than the ones I’m used to see and the actors all play so well.

The daughter who is obsessed with finding the slave is pure evil. The actress playing her should get an award, her facial expressions and voice tones are perfection and makes it easier to hate the character 😅.

You are right, it could be hard especially if you do it on your own. I think she has a good idea now how nice her life can be compared to with the ex. She can have a taste of peace and security. I can see if she didn’t have anything better than the past… you are right, the process will look different for different people.

I think Mudan should just cut Shengyi loose, let her go back to that abusive husband and don’t allow her to come back. It’s becoming irritating to see Shengyi easily swayed by her ex. I understand she is traumatized but she needs to get herself together. I have a feeling that something bad will happen because she doesn’t want to be firm with the ex husband.
