You are right, it could be hard especially if you do it on your own. I think she has a good idea now how nice her life can be compared to with the ex. She can have a taste of peace and security. I think Mudan should just cut Shengyi loose, let her go back to that abusive husband and don’t allow her to come back. It’s becoming irritating to see Shengyi easily swayed by her ex. I understand she is traumatized but she needs to get herself together. I have a feeling that something bad will happen because she doesn’t want to be firm with the ex husband.
