👏👏👏This is how it’s done! Release the following season in a timely manner without making people wait for years to the point where they forget what the plot was about.
Who else watched an ep. of this and then an ep. of A dream within a dream before choosing which one to continue…
I did the same thing as you but I ended up stopping ADWAD halfway on the first episode to continue this one here. The one released yesterday didn’t captivate me enough on the first ep so I’ll pause for now and resume later.
You reading, I pray “men” like fl father never approach you… CAN YOU IMAGINE?!! 🤬😤😤. Since they are shameless, if they dare approach you, I hope you’ll be equipped with one of the following so you can handle them appropriately 🥊🥋🩴🌂🧹🪣
To the future viewers, do not look at the ratings or get pissed with harem concept. The show is above and beyond…
People getting upset over the “harem” part have limited vocabulary. It’s not only a place where a man has sexual relationships with a lot of women. In the drama I would say that it portrays the broad meaning that is the living quarters of women back in the day. The man has no physical relationship with either the wives or the concubines. They all spy on each other, no love in there.
Alright let's just be clear: there is NO HAREM. The dude is literally (not) sleeping with the enemies. All his…
Harem is not just for a man and women he has sexual relationships with. Originally the word was used to describe the living quarters of women (wife, wives, concubines, servants, slaves, any unmarried female relatives).
A few definitions I’ve found because it seems like a few have a limited understanding of what the word “harem” means:
“Technically a harem is just a living space for women in a society that tends to separate men and women, but when we use harem, we’re often using it in the sense of a room full of women that serve someone powerful, often in a sexual way.”
“A harem may house a man's wife or wives, their pre-pubescent male children, unmarried daughters, female domestic servants, and other unmarried female relatives.”
“No, a harem is not always a place of sexual activity. While harems have been depicted as such in popular culture, they were primarily spaces for women in households that practiced gender segregation, often in royal or wealthy families. The primary function of a harem was to provide living quarters for the women of the household, including wives, concubines, female relatives, and servants.”
And so on… Anyway, interesting first few episodes 👌!
I wanted to punch Mumu in the mouth and slap fl at that moment. 1) Mumu displayed jealousy with her ill intent…
He came back early to be with the girl, he may have planned to study in France but that was before he met her. He is allowed to change his mind and decide to stay. The point is, it wasn’t Mimi’s place to let her know about ml plans regardless if he had decided to stay or leave.
I want to b*tch slap Mumu. What nonsense is she talking about? If that's really his future plans. He should be…
I wanted to punch Mumu in the mouth and slap fl at that moment. 1) Mumu displayed jealousy with her ill intent to hurt fl to the point of making her leave. I understand she was being possessive but her behavior was unacceptable. 2) fl because instead of believing the words of ml who’s been helping her and being by her side since the beginning and even told her he’d be there for life … she chooses to listen and believe a Mumu girl. 😤
Idk what to do with myself, is it really tomorrow 😭😭???? What do I dooo? Should I clap? Run in circles screaming of joy?😂 what do I do???? Finally!!👏👏👏… This drama, please don’t disappoint 🙏
That little mishap aside, what an amazing first episode. I'm invested!
You are doing the lord’s work in these kisskh streets!!! I appreciate you giving me what I didn’t ask for but you knew I needed 🥹🤝. I just screenshot your comment! Out of the list, I’ve only watched MingLan . Thank you!!!!☺️
people are not minding the fact that she comes out of such a household, it's the fact that she showing jealousy!…
Yup, I hope she’s dealt with by Thursday at the latest.
You are absolutely correct it’s always the same scenario that the writers force in dramas. I’m also tired of the naive fl who is manipulated into breaking up with ml. She just ups and go without communicating with ml. That martyr “let me suffer alone and in silence even though it’s not making sense” line. It’s all unnecessary imo.

Truly unnecessary, I agree with you. Everyone in the drama is suffering some sort of trauma, it’s not an excuse to act the way Mumu did. We can understand her trauma and still find her behavior unacceptable.

I was a thug in previous life 😩.
My fav genres are historical, slice of life and mystery. All genres need to have romance and smart female leads (not loud mouth/rude).
I’m starting with “the good wife” today 😄.
