“ Why do writers, directors, and producers keep romanticizing rape?” imo it’s because women for the most part keep encouraging this type of garbage “entertainment”. Let’s be honest, women (like myself) are the biggest percentage of dramas viewers so they write for “us”. We indirectly dictate what we want to see and it’s unfortunate because many among “us” are deranged. See how often in dramas, crimes are romanticized as long as the perpetrator has a handsome face and some charms. The female audience for the most part will forgive stalking, raping, kidnapping etc… in dramas and will use the “but it’s fictional” as an excuse.

“ What kind of fetish finds this content worthy of an 8 or 9 rating?” The same disturbing women who encourage the writers to produce the nonsense.

I didn’t watch the drama, I was tempted but saw another review similar to yours and that was enough to discourage me from watching.

It’s a thin line, once it’s accepted in fiction, it will easily cross to reality. As a sociologist, it’s a bit disturbing to me to see what is becoming more accepted in real life and when it comes to entertainment.

It’s so disturbing and many times it’s a female audience who is accepting of that type of behavior (dramas, music…). Put a handsome looking abuser and they will accept it.

You are right to stay away from that genre, I’m also starting to look at other types of genre but I haven’t found something that interests me.

It’s an agenda. They are trying to normalize this degeneracy so that when this type of crime happens in real life, people are desensitized. I’ve noticed how there are other dramas where a guy is clearly a criminal but in the comments you’ll see “it’s not stalking cuz he wants to help her”, “it’s not r@ping cuz he loves her” etc… all that because the person acting it is good looking actor.

There are people in real life like that Baidu princess, they can’t help but put themselves in embarrassing situations because of their confidence in their entitlement and or stupidity. I hope ml finds a way to ridicule her in an intelligent and satisfying way.

She obviously said that as soon as the sword is removed, he’d die. He was already on the floor with the sword removed so he died. Why continue to put out fire? He didn’t say anything even while falling. Did we not watch the same show? Didn’t she say that on the one you watched?

I want to understand why she stayed that long in the fire trying to help so someone who was destined to die. She said it herself that she couldn’t help the wound (removing the sword would kill him), he didn’t want to talk. Why stay and try to put out the fire on a corpse and endanger her own life?

👆This!! Whoever is wondering if they should watch…. Please believe the comment above. I read it before starting the drama but I was stubborn and still decided to watch the drama. I regret not trusting this review. Save yourself some time and watch something else.

This is show is good! This is definitely one to binge.

That’s what I’m thinking and that one with the hand sticking out is maybe a guinea pig? Do you know where that actor who plays his older butler was? I feel like I’ve seen him in a recent historical drama but can’t remember where.
