Can you be more specific about what type of storyline this is please?
I can try. To me it felt draggy a bit and “scattered”. Thanks to the synopsis we know it’s about a child who went missing and an adult who came back claiming he was the child. What made it hard for me to follow was the “fights” within the family. I also couldn’t feel the connection (romantic or brotherly) between the 3 leads.
It’s as if the stories of all the characters were told separately but tried to be put together, that’s why it felt scattered.
Sentences I said to myself a lot were “wait, who is this?” “What is the connection with so and so?” “What happened to this other one?”
I don’t know if I make sense. The drama overall was not easy to follow and I found myself wanting to do something else instead but since there was nothing else to do, I watched.
I finished it but tbh, I had a hard time focusing and enjoying the drama. I really wanted to love it but I guess this type of storytelling is not for me. There were some interesting moments so it was not all bad.
I also want to talk about how boring sml is with his acting, idk if it’s normal acting or if it was played like this just for this drama?
I think the rage you wanted to feel when watching that scene clouded your eyes so you didn’t see him apologize…
I’m glad he avoided the cousin but felt safe to go be with his WIFE that he DID NOT abuse.
Also, bringing 2025 logic to a historical drama, spare us that silliness. If you want modern reactions, watch modern eras dramas. The writers of this drama are already putting “modern”twists to this drama. If they were true to the time period, ml probably would have abused her. The writers spared us ancient behavior.
“He should be kneeling down”, do you think kneeling cannot be faked, that it’s the only way to show sincerity? He apologized for his reaction while being drugged and promised it wouldn’t happen again.
episodes 10-11 were a hard watch! the male lead was drugged and tried to abuse the female lead. it's the type…
I think the rage you wanted to feel when watching that scene clouded your eyes so you didn’t see him apologize a few times and him feeling remorseful. He even promised it wouldn’t happen again. Also thank goodness she realized that it wasn’t his fault since he was drugged. You are probably the exception but normal humans lose control when they are drugged (the man had more than 3 cups of whatever that drug was).

Do you know why the mother of ml seemed uncomfortable around him? I didn’t understand that part, why is there tension?
Me; there’s a c drama drought!
Team production: ooh really??! Say less!
