It’s the “microwave generation”, things need to happen fast. Emotional connection first is not trendy cuz it takes long. For many, these days, give up the “goods” fast or else the person is boring. Sad is that the same generation will complain about the lack of realness in relationships in real life. That or people are lonely or deprived in their real lives and live vicariously through dramas.

This drama is about to get better now that they have joined hands. Each episode is well packed so far, a lot happens which is great. I’m looking forward to seeing how both of them will get their respective revenges. I’m happy they will work together instead of being enemies.

I know her role is insignificant in the grand scheme but that miss Yu… smh. She disguised herself as a tavern girl, stole the flute then had no problem ruining her own reputation implying spending time with a man who didn't know her.. in hopes he’ll marry her? May this level of delusion never reaches us.

I didn’t watch “Untamed”, I started “Perfect match” but I dropped it. I dropped it because men were portrayed as idiots, I have no problem with gender centered dramas but I can’t tolerate when another gender is belittled (in this case it was men but I only watched 3 ep before dropping). I forgot “The Double”, it was actually the first c drama I watched , it was really good. Like you, I was only kdrama before.

Some historical dramas that I liked:

“The Story of MingLan”, “Marvelous Women” (these two are slow life but really good imo).

“Love Like the Galaxy”, “A dream of splendor”, “Are you the one”, “Destined”, “The Rebel Princess”, “Ancient Detective”, “Faithful”, “Dominion and Devotion”, “My Journey to you”.

Yes, he plays those roles too well 😅.

This is the second time I see him in a drama, here too he plays someone wanting someone else’s wife. First AWu and now Xiao. I will not like seeing him in other dramas.
