One of the messages today that they mentioned twice was that people rarely help for free. It was for military son but maybe I feel like we should remember that that later.

I think the dislike is towards her behavior TODAY, not her.

This drama is making my brain work and I love it. Someone else here made me think that MAYBE his masters and masked individual don’t care about Zhang Hai and his revenge, he is just their best player for their revenge. The entire village is gone, they burned where he lived for them years. Where is also that strict master with long hair? Didn’t one master said that they all “existed” because of Zhang Hai?

You made me realize something, maybe they don’t really care about his revenge. My heart already aches for him because of that possibility.

I agree, there’s no way they saved and trained him for 10yrs just because… one of his masters even said they “exist” because of him, or something like that. They burned the entire place when he left, right? What happened to his strict master that had the long hair?

We ARE focused on the drama, we are talking about what happened today. No one is talking about another drama or current events.

Are we even sure that masked guy is old? Maybe he is faking to distract.

I’m at the point where I suspect everyone, even his masters. I would even suspect Zhang Hai, wondering if he is the real son and not someone trained to believe he is. All this because I’m still traumatized by the ending of “Ancient Detective” lol.

I can see your point but maybe she doesn’t have an experienced team because the drama is mainly about Zhang Hai and his revenge. Many viewers I’m assuming are watching for that plot. Her immaturity was a bit much. She could be upset and make it known a different way.

Because she broke the intellectual vibe of the drama a little today with her silliness.

I’m assuming that most viewers were excited to finally have a smart drama that seeing this level of immaturity that we usually see in idol dramas was off putting. Hopefully we will resume to regular comments tomorrow.

Same! I’m preparing myself for some stupidity coming from her, it’ll be consistent with all the roles I’ve seen that actress play so far.

Fl acted like a spoiled brat. Her saying “he made me wait”… no, he told you that he needed more time to think about the answer. On her own, she decided to be a loser and sit by the window and wait for him while doing nothing else. He didn’t tell her to go sit by the window and wait for his answer.

Zhang Hai was also warned to not trust women so expecting him to throw himself at her easily is naive, especially after how fl has been playing him since the beginning.

I saw a comment “she is genuine” with him, did we forget that she’s the one who played him first when he arrived in the city? She’s been watching and doing him “favors” that are not genuine since she asks for things in return.

This is why a romance is not needed unless it’s an intelligent one. We are now being distracted in the comments because of her silliness today.

I’m not on other platforms, I’m only on this one. Like I said, maybe I missed those comments here. Also, why get mad when other people express their views about fictional characters. Acting is an art and art is subjective, people will interpret it differently and that’s ok.
