I don’t read the interviews but yes, she will have an impact because she is main character. She wouldn’t be in the drama if she wasn’t an important piece.
I agree with you that it was good that she had the coin instead of someone else. Did she really give it away for free? We will see, she may or may not ask for something in return.
This is exactly what I was saying people expect them to be perfect and get mad abs write think pieces everytime…
“and get mad every time they do a mistake”, I probably missed this part… who is mad? I see people surprised, not mad at the immaturity fl displayed today.
“Everytime” when else were people surprised(in a negative way) by the leads acting out of character? So far I’ve only seen positive comments.
Sometime we forget Zhang hai, Xiang Antu, Zhunag Xhijing are like 19-20 years old.Zhanghai is clearly just 20+…

She can run a business that is supported by the emperor. He is the right hand of a powerful marquis then became the chief minister of the IMPERIAL cabinet, all that within months of arriving in the city with nothing.
So yes, it’s perfectly normal to expect them to act mature because even among the peers of the time, what they have accomplished is not ordinary.
The writer making act so immature is odd. Hopefully she gets herself together quick so she doesn’t slow down the drama.
It was so satisfying to see him leave after she made him wait unnecessarily for hours. The man drank 6 pots of tea!
Same satisfaction when he didn’t beg after she turned down the house deed in exchange of that coin.
Can’t stand immature mind games when people (ADULTS) clearly like each other. Plus him being weak would have been out of character and it would have weakened the intellectual vibe of the drama.
I’m really looking forward to seeing the glow up of the second son of the marquis. How the mouths of his stepmother and half brother will drop to the ground.
oh and since im late to the party, this is like speaking in a desert; no one to chat with here about the drama…
Aaaand I’m done! I finished it. The script and acting was 👌. Fl did exhaust me and many times I wanted to slap her out of that behavior. When he said the relationship made him tired, I said out loud “me too!”. It was good but I’m glad it’s over, thank you for keeping me company 😄.
The world IS against her because she’s evil 😡. I think for people like her, death is the way. She’s a master in manipulation. If they lock her up, she can seduce a guard and make him do the evil work for her outside.
If they make Yulou end herself or if they forgive her, I’ll be pissed!!!! She needs proper punishment and humiliation and I want to see her go through it!

What did I miss?

Ok, I’m off to “Legend of Zang Hai” 😌👌
