Yeah, I saw that too, and I'm surprised people (I'm guessing most of them are women?) are defending this because he will have a redemption arc someday. I guess the writer knew how easily their target audience could be swayed
Do we have to accept men like that when they're clearly not good
When did I twist ur words? You said "y'all don't want to accept men like these". I don’t think not wanting to accept a cheater or domestic abuser is bad tbh.Fictional works showing unrealistic characters isn’t bad too
Right now, you've got an assassin character who stole the body of somebody else without thinking about it twice…
I don't believe cheating is a complexity or an ups and downs in a relationship. I could consider it if she were being abused, but she wasn’t. So, it's definitely not forgivable to me and I can't root for someone like her.
I watched two episodes and I can totally understand the low rating. It reminded me of Cdramas before 2021, which I used to dislike but with more budget. I can't believe there are girls here rooting for the redemption arc of a cheater. From someone's comment below, I found out even a domestic abuser is going to get a redemption arc?
The problem isn't with the characters btw. The problem is that these characters are going to have a happy ending and they're showing it from a romantic and funny point of view. And these aren’t complex characters at all.

Two different things are being done in two different settings. Cheating is associated with romantic relationships, and showing them getting a happy ending would get booed by me. I'm the person who thinks rape is a more horrifying case than murder. Murder can have an excuse depending on the situation and whom they murdered, such as murdering a rapist, but a rapist is unforgivable. As for AOS, they said from the start that the female character is an assassin. And it does matter whom they killed. The different settings in both dramas matter a lot. While one drama is set in the real world, the other is set in a fictional world from a different period.
