Excuse Me!!!! Zhao Jinmai is carrying this drama, and her acting skills is far superior than Song Wei Long. Song Wei Long acts the same way in every drama, eg. The character he played in The Seven Relic of Ill Omen is the same freaking way he portrays Lin Yusen. He has no emotions at all! Meanwhile, Zhao Jinmai isn’t stiff like Song Wei Long heck, the second main lead is a way better actor than Song Wei Long and he should of been casted as Lin Yusen.

I disagree, they both should be together. Chris is so into Zhuang Xu.

Neo Hou’s drama The Unclouded Soul could be an option, as you wait for the next episode. lol

I think he’s more conflicted. He doesn’t know how to deal with his emotions since he was manipulated by Rong, but he nicely ended his relationship. I think he should go for his coworker though, since, she’s interested with him.

She is not over him. Just look at the way she looked at him when taking a photo of Zhuang Xu and his coworker at the slope. She froze because she still has feelings for him, her cousin(Rui) noticed it, especially when he asked him to take a photo of her and him together.

Aren’t you playing attention? Zhuang Xu has definitely move on. He told his coworker, that there was no history between him and Xiguang. He also told his brother that she has a boyfriend and will not fight for her. The only way to fight for her is to steal her away, and I doubt that would happen. It’s Xiguang whose stuck, she doesn’t know who to choose. Does she want to be with creepy smiley face(Song Wei Long) or Zhuang Xu.
I think she should choose Zhuang Xu over awkward creeper(Song Wei Ling) 😊🤭

I haven’t finished reading the novel yet, so I will need to get back to you on my favorite parts of it. So far, I do like the story and characters. I’m on chapter 5, so far it’s good to read. 😊I whole heartedly agree with what you said on your prior post as well.

The biological Mother and MIL got on my nerves. Both of them were annoying. At least Minghui and Zhixia were the best characters in this drama.

I think in the end, he’ll end up with her. He deserves someone’s attention. After watching episode 15 looks like his brother Fei is trying to hook up his brother with Xiguang at the ski trip.

There’s a lot of haters on Neo Hou upcoming drama with Ai Mi as well. I myself will watch A Chan cause I like Lin Yi and reading the novel is making me anticipate it even more. I think this drama would be great for Ai Mi and Lin Yi. Crosses Fingers to no shortening of episodes.

I respect your opinion and won’t bash them. Hopefully, you’ll enjoy the drama when it airs and his acting will be ok for you enough, to see he improved.

yes, it’s more of a friendship chemistry. hopefully, SML moves on though and won’t hold a grudge. After all, he ends Rong’s “relationship” gracefully on ep 12.

I’m watching episode 12, and will catch up to the current episode by binge watching today. I can notice that Xiguang still has feeling for him, and she remembered that promise she made to him during their college years. Anyway, I feel that she has chemistry with him and none towards Yu sen. I guess it’s because ML isn’t evoking any emotions, it’s very stoic.

I said I’m enjoying Shine on Me. Zhao Jinmai and her colleagues are great! So far, the story is wonderful, The actress of Rong is doing a great job as an actress if you don’t like her character because she is portraying her like in the novel,therefore, her acting is making you feel hatred. If someone else was casted as YuSen took the role and you hated them as the ML wouldn’t an obsessed SWL come on here and bashed them! Now who has the Disease?!

Noooo! I hope it doesn’t get shorten! 24 episodes isn’t enough and if it’s cut due to censorship and haters the plot won’t make sense!
