The other person who you argued with said Xu Kai has better charisma than SWL and you bashed him. you need to face the facts, that other people believes that SWL cannot act! He’s a great martial artist, and has good looks, but is a terrible actor. I said before, that I am watching Shine On Me because Zhao Jinmai is a great actress and she is carrying this show, imo.

Finished watching Episode 5, and after watching 1-4 I see that there is more chemistry between FL and SML. For those who read the novel, why is he bad? he did try his best to help her with her thesis, she rejected his help, and they walked together to the dorm when both of them couldn’t get on the last bus. I don’t understand the hate of Zhuang Xu.

But if I recall, the SML did give up and became friends with Gu Yi and Liang DaiWen.

Lin Yi was pretty Good in Angels Fall Sometimes, Derailment, Smile Code and wasn’t stiff at all. He was also good in One Week Friends which had Zhao Jinmai as the FL.

I do know that this drama is making me excited for A Chan, starring Lin Yi as the ML. It has the same screen written,but, A Chan deals with soul swapping and time travel. Regardless, I do agree with you about this drama being fresh! I think the rating is low because some people found it slow or confusing.

I’ve watch this drama three times this year and it’s very good. It’s funny and both main leads acted well. I don’t know why it’s at 7.9 when it could of been an 8.5 or 9 for being a comedy and light drama. I’ll definitely suggest a rewatch when there’s no other drama’s out there.

Yup, I can’t wait for this as well as his current drama that is being filmed called A Chan. The fantasy drama.

A Chan is a fantasy that deals with time travel and soul swapping. Hardly, any romance. Just like how Derailment was a sci fi fantasy with hardly any romance! And the same screenwritter from Derailment wrote A Chan. Don’t you think she won’t add any romance/intimate scene due to age and censorship of FL.
