Havent finished yet, but definitely shaping up to be one of the best this and last year - totally resonate with the theme that sometimes good people just do bad things, but everyone has their reasons..
It was awesome until the last five minutes- like those guys are not where the text says they're at. π€¦π»ββοΈ
My last comment - I would've preferred the direct translation of the original title - "One's Origin", which makes a lot more sense thematically about someone's origin, how they came about, and how different people chooses differently on how it shapes them.
The ML comes home to Old Street as an army commander with his undercover crew, after being kicked out.
Yeh same, but I came to give it a good rating. It's very straight forward, good for entertainment fodder. Action scenes are real judo and wing chun, if you like old school action slapstick.
Just started and it's really good! Pleasantly surprised but man, we need some proper slapstick after that depressing year of angsty dramas - even the shop is called lololololpop if you look closely, and that had to be the biggest mahjong deck I've seen in my life. π
is it worth watching or not as does this drama has the same potential like cdrama Mobius ?
I liked Mobius, I like mysteries and thrillers, and I like ZRY but im literally having this show on for white noise while doing housework (read: really not worth the attention)
What do you mean by βpractically not in this show?β The drama literally started with his arc. Are you sure…
You should check the screentime he actually has compared to the rest of the cast.. At this point, even tiffany seems to have more screentime than him..
I'm only a few eps in but is it just me, or is ZRY practically not in this show? I know he has JoL commitments and can only fit certain things in contractually, but this really looks like a fully FL show..
I'm waiting til the end comes out before I start, but every time I see the bannerhead on Iqiyi and Viki blazing "Glory" across the page, my first thought is.. "are we Glorious yet?" π
Every time I see ZQ in a show, I'm so glad someone made that awesome decision to give him a meaty role.. it's just refreshing to see real acting without a pretty face.
Ah ok, it's just really confusing when everyone drops hints (especially her) and then everyone is like, "I know who you are" but no one actually ever clarifies who she is in the context of things.π
I mean there has to be some inspiration somewhere.. They said something about being adopted by a Bishop, and a few other things in the last few episodes

Separate note - how did CY's own themesong end up on 7th billing on the official ost record? π
See Blossoms Shanghai for reference.
