Honestly the only thing annoying about this show is the intro at the 10-15min marks.

I haven't gotten far but the insinuations for romance are there.. last time I checked, marrying your biological brother's biological mother's daughter is still considered in-breeding.

Yeh I'd watch anything with Bai Yu for his taste and artistical reasons, but man this one is a struggle. Really just looking for a plot.. like any plot and not feeling like ancient china textbook snippets (which I actually studied 😅)

Im a fan of GJ, not for fangirl reasons but man, I'm starting to think he will NEVER get the right role because he already did with WoH (and we know that opportunity is never going to resurface).

I watched both seasons so I'm just going to say, 28 episodes and he literally just receives a Golden Ball for all his troubles. That's all.

Havent finished yet, but definitely shaping up to be one of the best this and last year - totally resonate with the theme that sometimes good people just do bad things, but everyone has their reasons..

My last comment - I would've preferred the direct translation of the original title - "One's Origin", which makes a lot more sense thematically about someone's origin, how they came about, and how different people chooses differently on how it shapes them.
