I love Wu Jin Yan. The characters she plays are always so interesting. loved both the ML and FL in this, also love Xu Kai. They were were such an interesting pairing. Also had a real soft spot for Officer You. I loved the food porn in this too. They did such a good job of showcasing the cuisine of that time, I was feeling hungry at various times while watching this

Pei Yan was a real pein in the ass😠 like the girl doesn’t want you. The emperor was also another pain, I wish he would have died sooner. Wei Shao dying in the end really pmo because he could have avoided that. he should have locked the emperor inside and escaped. We were robbed of Daddy Shao😭I thought it was going to be a happy ending after what the fortune teller said. otherwise great story, loved the ml and fl.

I love both leads. A fan of both actors. Murong Jinghw is definitely memorable, he was down bad for his girl. But damn why did the ending have to be like that 😭The ending got spoiled for me (lowkey happy it did) so I skipped a lot of the stuff in the last 10 episodes. I think if the story had gone in a different direction it would have been so much better

I’m also on episode 14 and I’m thinking of dropping. The only reason I’m still watching is because I love Bai Lu and Dylan wang😅

I was pessimistic when they announced season 2 but it actually turned out better than I thought. There were so many colorful characters. But season 3 was…something. it’s not bad don’t get me wrong but I just expected a little more. The story arc with the brother just seemed a little bit futile. And the worst part about the finale is them soft launching the American version. we can’t have shit without Hollywood wanting a slice of the cake

Finally finished it. I’m actually surprised that I was able to finish this because at some point the story started dragging. It was cute for some time though. I guess i finished it because I was craving a “childhood friends to lovers” story and also because of the ML. Loved him in hidden love and wanted to see him in something else. he’s really good at playing green flag characters

Does anyone have any recommendations for Cdramas with this type of story I.e childhood friends who after some time apart reconnect as adults

yo guys I just finished episode 9 and I just wanted to stay I CAN NOT STAND the mom. The FL‘s dad is so sweet in contrast, how on earth did they end up together. Actually, don’t answer that. I see this in real life a lot. Anyways, lemme go finish this…

This was so cute from start to finish

This was so cute. Very sweet, lighthearted show. Zhao Lusi and Victor Ma were so believable as siblings. I really enjoyed their dynamic. They were hilarious. The ML was incredibly charming.

This was cute but I wish I had finished in one day because I was struggling to finish it on day 2. I think the drama did not need to be that long. also it felt like I missed something between episode 18 and 19. These guys went from struggling by to confess to each to randomly and suddenly calling each other boyfriend/girlfriend. idk it just felt like a scene was missing, there was a bit of a disconnect. Also nice to see Ke Ying in this, she was cute in this

Another Ke Ying drama I enjoyed. I really like her and hope to see her in more long form dramas. She just has a natural charm to her that always makes me gravitate towards her characters. The drama was enjoyable and for a mini drama it was pretty good but omg the misogynistic father was getting on my last nerve 😠
