omg right. even when they just started dating, I kept thinking to myself that it felt more like a situationship

I have to say the last 4 or so episodes salvaged this drama for me because we were finally free from unnecessary misunderstandings and everything was out in the open. my favorite parts were when the different couples found out about each others’ relationships. I feel like for such a stellar cast, they deserved a much better script. the cast kept me here otherwise it was quite the snooze fest for most of of the show. finally finished it after my second attempt. I had to skip A LOT to be able to make it to the end

50% of this show is texting and conversations getting interrupted by phone calls. I’m still waiting for a drama where the leads just ignore a phone call and continue to kiss

I totally feel the same way. I was hooked since the first drama of hers that I’ve watched. she’s just so good

yeah this trope is overplayed. but seriously some people really shouldn’t be parents because wth. that’s a whole life you’re ruining with your selfish actions. And her putting all that responsibility on a literal child. I was glad the fl called her out on it

the timing of this drama makes sense with the World Cup going on

at some point I started wondering if they even wanted the ml and fl to be together. what started out as an interesting story became a convoluted mess.

I really enjoyed this one, it was cute. loved the leads, I chuckled here and there

football coaches can wear their glasses at home too 🤓😅

I started watching this a while ago and dropped it after episode 12. I found the characters especially the fl extremely frustrating. I think I was also not in the mood to be patient with such a character. Recently, I’ve been loving Wang Churan’s work so I was like let me give it another chance and I’m quite enjoying it. I can totally understand those who can’t stand her character cause that was me once upon a time, but I find that watching with a bit more understanding of who she is, is making it a bit easier to watch. both the ml and fl have been through so much, you can clearly see how their family backgrounds have influenced how they operate as adults. when you look at the fl’s family situation it’s not surprising to see how stunted she is. oh yeah btw im enjoying this probably because I’m skipping all the scenes with the fl’s mother and brother. sorry I can’t stand them. I refuse to be rage baited, idc if I’m missing out on an important dimension of the story. also Wang Churan and Yang Yang are ridiculously gorgeous human beings😍

I love Chen Jing Ke so much. excited for this one. Sad because I don’t think he’ll be wearing glasses in this one😅

I love this drama, so much. it’s like a breath of fresh air in this European heat wave. I look forward to watching it at the end of my day.
