omg that last scene. I just know there’s some kind of misunderstanding😅 I’ve played this games before 🙊 I’m really enjoying this. I hope they keep the momentum. it’s always a fun watch
just finished episode 34 and I just wanted to say, I would usually find this type of show to be boring but I’m fascinated by it somehow. props to the leads who have both done such a good job. I love how mature and healthy their relationship is and I like the other themes explored
This was cute but also one of the most frustrating dramas ever. I have a love-hate relationship with the fl in particular. Like omg grow a pair. I was hoping in the end we would see some growth and she would be the one to confess but no we didn’t get that. she was pining for the second ml for the majority of the show. it was cute at first but then after a while it was extremely frustrating. in the end there was barely enough time for us to experience the leads as a couple. we didn’t even get to see their parents’ reaction. 36 episodes and they didn’t have time for that? I hate it when dramas waste time on useless plot lines and end up not having time to wrap things up. I sound like a real hater but the thing is I was actually enjoying this drama. it was really emotional especially at the start, I even shed a few tears but the way they handled the main romance plot left a lot to be desired. if handled correctly, this could have been one of the best coming of age dramas

I guess when I said success I just meant her being able to get an expensive bag etc. you’re right, it’s not really success. she was so obsessed with surpassing Xi Guang that she ended up working for an idiot.
Just finished episode 31 and Zhuang Xu is laughably delusional. When he finally snaps out of it, and I hope he does, he’s gonna cringe at how embarrassing he is. Like I get it, being poor can be traumatic and it can leave you feeling deeply insecure and feeling like you’re unworthy of certain things but he needs to deal with that himself. It is not fair to project that onto Xi Guang. I’m glad she stood her ground and drew clear boundaries because he was out of line. He has a good job now, surely he can afford therapy. Same with Rong, sis needs to get a grip. She is in this imaginary competition with Xi Guang. Rong has always been insecure and envious of her. Like it’s not Xi Guang’s fault that she’s rich, pretty and likeable. Rong needs to deal with her stuff too. Even with all the success she has now, Xi Guang stays in her head rent free.
