It wasn't. Dramas gotta stop dragging out basic romantic interactions so long. It's a kiss. A normal interaction…
Where did I say I needed to see people constantly kissing from the first eps? Ya'll really need to take your sexual hangups elsewhere. There's a world between "constantly kissing" and no kissing for close to 30 episodes in a 36 episode series.

It's not either or. It's a kiss. Not hunching. It gets old - all that push and pull or forced separation - if the drama focuses on the relationship primarily. It's less of an issue if the relationship is secondary to other things in the show.
She is still Shem Xihe. After the twin moons, GQ soul just entered hers. Or their souls merged. So technically…
Eh...the drama plays it differently. She's GQ with Xihe's memories. This is clear from the first episodes when she has to remember her maids. She has no issue remembering (she immediately asks about her family when she awakens) her life as GQ, b/c that's fundamentally who she is.
If she's still not reciprocating by episode 29, when are we actually supposed to enjoy the romance?
It has. She was pregnant at her death. They said as much more than once. And no...she's not a virgin. Like c'mon. Also she's married to a guy who's going to die in a year. What is she waiting for? It's silly at this point.
Remember previews are misleading. And in 27 and 28 they are together in love and officially.
In Ep 29 he's talking about his Grandmother wants grandbabies, that's how I know they haven't hooked up. It may happen by the end of that episode possibly...but I'm thinking 30.
My one continued gripe with this series is they don't do a good job with the passage of time. Weeks can pass between scenes - let alone episodes - but it will feel like it's just the next day. Doing a better job of establishing time would be great to have better sense of what is happening and when.
