I realize my taste seems to run a lot diff than the typical MDL crowd. Like Legend of the Female General everyone was raving about and I was like, it's clearly written for a 15 year old girl.

People are praising Shadow Love and the other Demon drama out right now, and I didn't like either of them. Female lead (I think she's the female lead) in Shadow Love is mad annoying. Same for the female lead in that other demon drama. Like is she 12????

This drama tho is light and fun and quirky. A little more slice of life than mystery. And that's exactly what I was looking for right now.

Many are saying the ratings have something to do with haters,but after finishing the first 6 episodes, I'm struggling…
It's a slice of life demon story. There's plenty happening, but if you're expecting case of the week, drama every episode then I can see why it's not for you. The slow pace and quirky characters is refreshing for me.

I mean...did he really have a choice? Emperor has already murdered his dad without the tally - think he won't murder him. Giving the tally gives him time to sort things out AND to find out who's loyal to him in the army so he can make a move if need be.
