The ending makes me think they’re not in an altered timeline, which it should be because the past was changed. But they’re now in an alternate universe like the metaverse. The way they introduce each other like it’s their first

I just finished the drama and now confused of the ending. someone explain to me. If Ji Ling went to the past 50 years ago , killed the monster, and take Lu Wu Yi away. What happened to Ji Ling from 50 years ago? Ji Ling was pretending to be Long Sheng for hundreds of years so even if the past had changed where there Lu Wu Yi is taken somewhere else. Ji Ling would still exit in that time period so why when LWY was taken away, the present day Ji Ling became a nobody who sells flowers? Moreover, LWY was taken away in the past into the mirror realm with the future Ji Ling. How is she still there at the end of the drama??

This is one of the best film that's able to fit in 29 episodes without any fillers, but I wish it was longer so they can explained more in details about certain scenes.

I'm on episode 8. LOL what do you mean Ji Can appears in the last episodes? Isn't he Long Shen who has his appearance since ep 5? This is confusing. Isn't Ji Ling a wooden puppet made by Long Shen/Ji Can? I thought Ji Can is the name of the last dragon son.

oh i don't mind spoilers. LOLOL just that if the ending is crappy I'll skip. I don't like sad ending, but the movie is good so far. One of JJY's best I would say. The role fit her well in here. I guess because the actress/actors in this drama is quite good too.
