if you listen and understand mandarin song, many of them use a very poetical lyric even in modern song. i do think they make the song lyric like they make mandarin song and rather make it grammatically correct, they make it phonetically sounds good (?) imho though, don't take it as fact..

this is something that i've been thinking about. a lot of cdrama after 2020ish era, use english language song as ost. i think because it's popular and cooler that way? though i'm a bit sad, because i wanna hear more mandarin song. i have some theory but rather keep it to myself.

if you watch popular drama like hidden love, amidst snowstorm, etc.. they use lot of english lyrics ost

i love the color composition in ep 12, navy, white, dull color background then red add pop out color. so pretty, so aesthetic.

in the novel it's end before they got married, so we have no idea. but obviously in some bts for the show, they look like they have children, so it's going to be different

because in the novel, ML got the invitation from the FL, he disappointed when the FL doesn't even show up when he's in recovery and worse, she doesn't remember him at all. in his mind, he go there because fl invitation, got into accident that ruin his career, and she doesn't show remorse and forget about him.
and why fl doesn't remember him, because the one who invite ml is not her. ml's friend misinformed ml.
the fl doesn't even know ml at that time.

also in the novel, there's some scene, that he insist to keep her in hospital longer ±10days. he use his card as a medical expert to make her stay longer. he just want make her secure and safe, or at least in the best care.

misunderstanding. ML excited to see her because he think their feeling are mutual, got into accident, ruin his life as surgeon. the FL never visit him in hospital, doesn't show remorse, worse, she doesn't even remember him.
the thing is, his friend inform him the wrong Nie's daughter, the one who ML's friend mention is not FL at all. that's why FL really clueless about him.

"i'm thrilled to hear that you'll be at my wedding. But i'll bet you won't have the time for pranks"

it's misunderstanding. ML's friend wrongly recognized the FL.

i don't understand some people complain about the boring part.. i mean other popular series for example, love ambition, have very long context introduction, and i even surprised that it's romcom, i thought it's serious drama at first. other very popular cdrama with high rate usually have slow start.

i mean, even though i'm new to cdrama, i can understand that it's the pattern (?) it's slow but if you continue you'll feel like it's fulfilling (?)
it's not like kdrama that do the roller coaster emotion, and exhausted after watching (though it's great as well)

i just feel like, just take your time watching cdrama, enjoy it, savor it.. i can even work while watching cdrama, but with kdrama, nope..

her mother live in other city and she didn't tell she hospitalized, her relationship with father not good.


i mean.. there's scene where she tell her mom after she's release from hospital. did i miss something so obvious?

if im not mistaken, father passed away, mom live abroad. i really don't remember his parents because they are not mention as important character.

he just ashamed, from the behavior i read, he just need time. XG ask him why he leave suddenly, he just said that he can't face her because he feel guilty.

he is actually pull away after he know the truth (suddenly gone) because he feel guilty, she chase and search for him and finally accepting and confess her love then they officially together.

yeahhh.. i'm also intrigued how people complain and question why fl like 2ml. i mean, we only get the bad side of him, there's no story before even in the novel. like maybe 2ml doesn't always that bad, or that cold.. like we have no idea. so it's fine if she like him and from that she develop her maturity to judge people and to be stronger and even better.

i understand some people are just so impatient. even though, the series here quite have nice flow and the story are not complicated at all, it really is easy to digest and enjoyable.

but again, maybe people just want to rant and make comment because they're as excited as me 😆
