What a beautiful drama, everything almost perfect
This is a real gem.Everything in this drama is enjoyable.
We are completely hacked by the story. Both the ML and FL are so handsome and have good acting. they perfectly fit to their rôle and the chemistry is insane. The tension between the 2, their bond is so beautiful to watch.
We are hooked by their fate and desperately wait to see them together. Even the vilain is enjoyable. We are not disturbed by toxic relationships even if some bullying are spread, these are treated in sane way.
Urging to watch the continuation…

Best Drama I have watch so far (and I have watched a lot...)
Best masterpiece ever. I really do not understanf the bad reviews and comments. S2 is my favorite and is so powerful. Everything in this drama is perfection. Actors, story, OST... This is the only drama I have rewatched and I could watch several times. The main character is so actractive and the romance is so beautiful that makes you sticked to your screen. The mix between historical drama, fantasy with special effects well realized makes it really entertaining and addictive. There is no boring episodes or moment as I could had experienced in other drama. All ingredients are there to create emotions, love, laughs, sadness, hope... I have watched it twice but I will surely watch it again and againWas this review helpful to you?
A real gorgeous gem very much underated in MDL.
This drama is stunning. We have here a wonderful story around friendship/ brotherhood that we gradually discover through the storyline without being dragged in boring details. The acting is so good with a special mention to Leo Luo who is acting so majestically, he fits so well in this kind of Fantasy roles and here he is stealing the limelight, and his talent really carries the show. The OST is also stirring with appropriate and entertaining pace. I also like the fact that we don’t have the show wasted in tedious love story for once.Was this review helpful to you?

the story is so wasted, Run Yu deserve better!
I am so disappointed by this story.The show is great but I was very annoyed by some elements of the story
The night deity/ Run Yu is absolutely lovable and deserves so much better. He rocks the show.
I really hate his bond with Mi’er and the way he suffers because of her. Kuang Lu would have been a much better choice for him. And the love story between the Jin Mi and the Fire deity is not as beautiful as we would like. It is actually cringe and disturbing sometimes.
I really don’t like her role and the way she behave btw.
The fire deity is also great but pitiful sometimes, less majestuous that we could have expected, especially in the way he defends his witch mother the empress, as being his mother doesn’t excuse her naughty actions. We feel sorry for the damages caused to the brotherhood between him and Run Yu
Otherwise, it would have been a 10/10

This is an absolute masterpiece
What a fantastic gem 💎. The most beautifulI drama I have ever watched over more than 200. I didn’t prioritize watching this great show and I regret. It is absolutely gorgeous and addictive. It has all, so moving, emotional, cute, sadness, Joy, heartbreak, tragic, epic, beautiful love story, fights, Fantasy, everything you can enjoy in this drama style.The story is amazingly staged, well articulated and rich, you never get bored along these 40 episodes
First, I love the ML, Tantai Jin is everything, handsome, dark, cute, pityfyl, lovable, attaching, majestuous. The actor becomes one of my preferred chinese actors as whenever I see him in a show, he is doing great.
I also like the FL, who is also doing great. They are such a beautiful couple, with wonderful chemistry.
Never cried so much in front of a drama.
This is really a must to watch, and it is my favorite in this style.

An ode to Love
Must beautiful drama I watched so far. Everything is beauty and perfection.All Characters and actors are amazing, very well played.
A melt of so many intense emotions, between love, fear, friendship, anger, confusion, frustration. All these are at the right place and right timing. ML and FL have such a good chemistry and acting that you just want to keep watching them, experiencing their journey and building their bond. There was no cringe moment as I have already seen in other drama even good one. The story is consistent and well articulated. We even feel sorry for the villains.
It was so good and entertaining that I still would like it to continue but the end is so well orchestrated that you couldn’t add anything.

Absolute Masterpiece
this drama is a must to watchfrom the story to the music, the acting, everything is so good and beautiful to watch. we absolutely love all the characters. ML and SL do an amazing job, they have such a beautiful chemistry that we want this never ends. Even the end episodes dancing chore is great.
the music is really amazing. The one sang by Ho Min Hao be came one of my favorite songs that I listen out of the show. I rarely rewatch a drama twice but this one is really worth having a second view.
