Kneeling where? In front of Jin Zhao's mother tablet while lots of eyes saw it? Do you know that it can ruin Jin Zhao's reputation? Sending his royal soldiers? Do you forget that bringing those soldiers causing some trouble for Jin Zhao in the inn, and Yan Yun has to interfere to help her find room for them?
Ye Xian was doing that because he wanted Jin Zhao to be his, not because he was changed. Therefore, he didn't predict the result, or maybe didn't care. Look at the recent events. He didn't say thank you to Yan Yun after saving his and his father's dignity in Li Zhi's rebellion. All he did is accuse him. He even made enemies with his superior just because the new emperor favored him. Oh, and he entered a maiden's chamber as if it was okay at that era.
The writers need to do something about this character. Jin Zhao has changed, why hasn't Ye Xian after three years have passed.
It was the most sweetest proposal ever!! No drama, no useless arguments, but two adults discuss about potential marriage calmly and respectfully. Chen Yan Yun asked about Gu Jin Zhao's feeling first to know if she had a man in her heart, before telling her his intention.
I love his last sentence, "If you've never thought about it, start thinking about it from today."

It's such a waste, I know. 14 episodes airs only for cliché family drama, which is the reason I wanna drop this drama. 😁 Meanwhile, the tax reform arc is what draw me into this drama. Okay, I'll let you know.
