Jin Zhao's confession in episode 15 was so well-written. I'm glad I'm not wasting my time watching her impulsive revenge behaviors in the first 14 episodes. Hopefully, this character keeps getting better. π₯°ππΌππΌ
Yes..they change the story and also the FL character..
I stay for Chen Yan Yun. His politic scenes, especially the tax reform is interesting. Glad Jin Zhao is tolerable now. If SML that you mean is Ye Xian, my, he's one of annoying characters here. I barely watch his scenes. π
We're in minority here, I believe. I know why people, young audiences to be exact, defending drama Ye Xian. It's…
@hafsaumi: Wow, are you blocking me? I got a notification hours ago that you replied my comment but I couldn't find it. My goodness. Glad I knew how to get your reply. I thought you deleted them, but I saw no [deleted] sign.
@Ximena You guys really want to see everything in black and white and hate flawed characters. No one defends Ye Xian, but his character is complex and well-written. Not every drama character should be a βgreen flagβ; you guys are too CPF-focused and hate anything that changes the main focus of the plot. I read comments every night before I sleep. I did not see a single comment from you praising the actor.
@hafsaumi: You mad at me because you didn't see a single comment from me praising the actor? π€£π€£π€£ Good grief. Since you accuse me (hate flawed characters), let me tell you. I hate the wrongdoings, not the people. Oh, and his character is not complex, he's a spoiled, arrogant young man.

I understand the truth hurts. If the actor has some physical flaws, no one will defend his character's violent deeds. I'm not downplay the actor, but stating the facts that his appearance influence our judgment.
I praised his performance because he succeeded deliver the character perfectly: a spoiled, arrogant young noble at that era. I barely watch his scenes. That's how good his acting is. Please, don't twist my comment because I write nothing that insults the actor.
Iβm genuinely perplexed by some people defending Ye Xianβs βright to loveβ and saying that he has redeemed…
We're in minority here, I believe. I know why people, young audiences to be exact, defending drama Ye Xian. It's called pretty privilege. If the actor or the character is not attractive, they will see what we see in Ye Xian's true self. π€·π»ββοΈ
Once again, Ye Xian proved that he was a spoiled, arrogant, and ignorant young man. π€¦π»ββοΈ I was glad he kept doing what he was good with. His presence traumatized me ever since he beat Jin Zhao.
I don't understand why Jin Zhao seems okay to be near him. If anyone whip me once, there's no way I let him/her in the same room with me.
